How does one version of Fates differ from the other versions? Probably, if I ever get some FE game, fates would possibly be the one. However, I'd like to know that are the version so different that it is justified to release two (or was it three?) versions of the same story. If one plays conquest, and the they played birthright, would they recognize it as the same story if not for the names of people and places.
I want to know this, so I can find out if the game is "so well done and has such complex and large storyline that it had to be done in several separate games" or "A filthy cash grab that tries to milk the last pennies out of the loyal fanbase's pockets."
If it is the former, i should probably give it a try someday, but if it is the latter, i probably end up hating it without even trying it, and even if it is an excellent game and i would be fine with just one version, because I am silly like that.
