I can confirm. We have secret handshakes and codes and entry is only permitted to those who have mastered the art of bordered avatars.

Other mods like Opossum and Liberation are also a part of the organisation, though they belong to other wings, as you might guess from their style of bordering.

So in other words, "It's a very exclusive club for very exclusive people, and you can only be in exclusively"

So if I become more active, and let's say, in 8 year or so (assuming I still am here), if I become the eternally beating heart of the smash community, bringing light, life and love to every forum I post (except the yucky fan art ones, I cannot handle them.) and I am still genuinely interested in backroomership, and I am willing to sacrifice my time and efforts for the greater good of the community, I probably would have pretty moderate chances to get there?

(I have a thing for secret clubs, be it the freemasons or the mandatory "No girls or that annoying Jack club")

The only real requirement to be a Back Roomer (green banner, not the purple one) is to be cool in the eyes of people who are already Back Roomers.
I was granted BRoom membership out of the blue, and regrettably I very rarely visit the place. The general things they talk about (Competitive Melee and generally American topics like Super Bowl) don't interest me and I didn't know anyone there beforehand, so I didn't really feel like putting in the effort to fit in.

By the way, I actually have zero experience in competitive Smash and I joined the site solely for speculation. (I made a lot of friends here so I stayed anyway.)

Cool. There are few tricks I dont know if you know, like how you can eat projectiles with the headbutt, or link down HP into V-Trigger into EX Air Grab. Man, Zang is so much fun in this game. Heck, everyone is. Even Dhalsim, friggin DHALSIM

Suffice to say that I felt like I was an alien place. The Green forum skin adds to the atmosphere too.

The Disco Room is exclusive to members with premium. It is a room where the rules are much more lax and you can do whatever you want... but the SWF Rules still applies... the spam rule is much more lax though.

You can buy premium and get access to the DR room.

On our last history lesson (which was today) we talked about ancient Rome and the way people there were divided by wealth. One example of this was that richer people received less severe punishment for their crimes than the poor people.

Also, ancient Rome also had forums. Now tell me how is this Smashboards different from ancient Rome. (I am actually fine with that. It's right that those people who actually support the community get their own place to chill out.)

I think six. There's also Admin (grey), Writing Staff (yellow) and Rankings Staff (white). There's also Super Moderator, but that's the same red as regular Moderator, IIRC.
Oh, right, I forgot Senator. Don't know what color that one is, though.

My banner is so utterly incredible that @Warchamp7 had to make it invisible to the public eye in order to avoid mass riots and eventually all-out warfare brought about among commoners in a violent attempt to claim it for themselves.

In fact, it is so fantastical that Warchamp himself had to block all memory of it in his own mind so that he couldn't succumb to the madness that comes with it's allure.
