That's it. I'll grind the necessary to finish up Xenoblade X's story, but after that, I'm done with the game.
I'm at 36% of completion, way beyond the hype I had at release, and the overwhelming amount of problems of this game has caught up to me. I just get frustrated by either the slow pace of the cutscenes/dialogues (most of which are just boring and uninteresting), the mess which is the balance of the side missions (some of them are way too easy, some of them are incredibly difficult), or the grinding required for the affinity missions (they can go ****ing die in a pit).
I have two chapters left and I'm honestly tempted to see how it ends on Youtube.
I was aiming to at least 70% of completion for this game (never intended to go full 100% that's crazy and honestly not worth it) but I guess I'll settle for whatever I'll have once I finish the main storyline. Probably not even 50%. It's sad but honestly I get more frustrated by this **** than by Bloodborne. I can't deal with it anymore.
Also, it continues to log off the internet for no reason whatsoever and obviously the only way to reconnect and cancel that AWFUL "offline" signal on the screen you have to get out of the game. So stupid.

Over male/female choices I generally prefer girls because of design and in Robin's and Lucina's case, I prefer their palette swaps. Both male and female Corrin look really stupid with their hand at their chest, or is that just me? But since Marth/Lucina are different characters I prefer Marth for gameplay.

I mostly use Male Robin because he has such a cool voice, but I admit that I have a small.... pretty small bias towards Female Kamui.

My fav alts for :4robinm: and :4villager: are red :4robinf: (waifu, and no, it has nothing to do with Etika) and green :4villagerf: (I just think it's cute, that's it).

So yeah, expect my fav :4corrin: alt to be a :4corrinf: one.

I alternate between male and female Robin, though I'm more likely to use female when I decide to use alternate colors/costumes against friends. I stay with default Villager. Wii Fit Trainer I also alternate between male and female. I use both Marth and Lucina because Marth has the tipper and Lucina has the better colors.

My hype train is going good

Tomorrow I'm going to see Star Wars 7 and I successfully dodged the spoiler bullets.

And Christmas is close

And February for the most hype characters of them all

Oh by the way about the salt after the direct

Another reason to stop being salty

Bet if bayonetta was not the ballot winner and if it was k rool, wolf, shovel knight, shantes or inklings.

There would still be salt even if it was one of them.

Out of boredom I'm gonna make a smash type game roster that mixes video game and anime characters. If I made it it wouldn't be called Smash so nobody would complain about it.

I'd be down for a Nintendo/Anime game, if only to finally play as my all-time, favorite anime hero:

So I just beat The Last of Us.
Talk about one hell of a ride. This is a masterpiece of a game, and the fact that a sequel was sorta hinted at makes me truly happy.
I think this was the first game ever where I didn't skip any cutscenes. I think I might even write a review of it later, not sure.
Gotta get through the DLC and New Game + now.

I'm 19, but Christmas just feels less special for me each year. I don't know why, maybe I'm growing up? I also feel less in the holiday spirit as years go on, I don't know..

I'm never too big on gift holidays. At least not the gift giving aspect of them. If no one ever gave me a present ever again, I think I just might be content. It's just not the most meaningful show of affection for me, y'know? It's appreciated, but not at all necessary.

Debating whether or not to quench my Star Wars thirst by getting Battlefront II or to bite the bullet and buy Undertale.

I see you're new to the boards. Welcome!

(This is the coolest thread this side of the site, btw. You made an excellent first choice.)

I have been debating whether or not to get the new Battlefront. It is very tempting with the multiplayer, but I worry that it will be like Battlefield Hardline was for me. Where the multiplayer looks amazing but the novelty quickly wears off and I end up bored of the game after a week.

It's almost pretty much that from what I've heard. I'm disappointed with the lack of single player the game has like the previous modes in the original Battlefront. The Star Wars fan in me really wants this game, though, purely for that fact, and the multiplayer is enjoyable, at least. The game is beautiful, too.

I heard a lot of mixed impressions regarding the gameplay so I decided to fulfill my Battlefront fix with the previous game since its $9.99 on Steam.

And I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm getting Undertale. We'll see how this goes.

25 myself, and I feel similarly. Of course, I don't think it has to do with growing up, but has more to do with the company you keep- the people you spend it with. For example, I have radically different views than the rest of my family (plus I'm gay) so I don't really enjoy being around them because of that. (They are very vocal about their religious and political beliefs and assume everyone related to them automatically agrees, which is incredibly frustrating...) That, and I'm just bad at gift shopping for people whose interests aren't...interesting. My siblings have all become grown up and want **** like dish racks and scented candles or whatever and I just don't understand how you just someday wake up and be that boring. Regardless, if it's something that feels less special to you every year and that bothers you, you should definitely look toward ways to make it more special to you. Otherwise, it's just a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm not too thrilled about Christmas this year because I'll be stuck with the ol' biological family... But by next year, my girlfriend and I are gonna be living halfway across the country and spending Christmas by ourselves, and to me, that's what's going to be magical about the holidays.

I love spending time with my family now that I've been in college for over a year now. This is more of a recent thing though, I've felt less in the holiday spirit for some reason, I don't know why. I appreciate all that my parents have done for me and would like to finish school and get a job to help them as they did me, but I don't know how to do that as I'm not financially stable. They've spoiled me for years but I don't know.. I'm just not excited for the holidays this year except the fact that I finally get a break from this semester of hell I just had. Maybe it's because of the depression I've been having the past week because something I didn't want to happen, well, happened, and I'm beating myself up about it.

If Hardline's novelty wore off for you, Battlefront's will wear off faster. I only played the Beta and it wore off on me quick. The game is super polished, but there's no content.

Also, Welcome to the boards!

Christmas is just another day for me. The family don't get together or anything, so I spend my Christmas day exactly like I do most days of the year.

To commemorate the final rounds of DLC. I made like five different versions of the Corrin one that I am too lazy to post.

Bayonetta's is next. I wanted to do her's today but trying to re-do Corrin's took me forever and all day to do. I just couldn't figure out how to make it work with Corrin like I easily did with Cloud, which took me like an hour and a half to do.
