Lucina like Rr. Mario and Dark Pit are just extra characters. They don't really matter.(Especially since they probably will not be their own characters next game)You know, if Lucina had just been an alt costume for Marth like intended, I bet nobody would really complain about the FE characters; I know I wouldn't. She just pads it out too much with samey-ness, honestly.

I am really happy for you!Commemorative Post-thingyNote: This is the first post of its kind. People often make one for 10k or 15k or 20k posts, but I forget each time. Not this time though.
I'm at 25,000 posts (when the hell did I post so much?) and have been on the site for three years now. The site has changed since I signed up and I myself have changed a lot as well.
Straight up, this site has shaped me a lot - giving me my weakness to cute stuff, igniting my love for puns and other language stuff, getting me to watch anime, helping me in overcoming my shyness and making me confident in my English. I don't even want to imagine how different I would have been if not for this site.
My RL social life is quite small; I'll be honest that I enjoy sitting in front of the computer much more than hanging out with people. SmashBoards was a happy medium between those, as I found I was able to communicate much more freely and fearlessly, some of which has trickled into my real life as well. I'm thankful for that.
When I joined the site, I did it only because I was looking to hack my copy of Brawl. Smash 4 speculation was there, but because there wasn't any info on it, I wasn't really interested in it yet. I certainly didn't expect speculation to be so alluring that I'd end up moderating the section barely 8 months later, lol.
Speculation itself taught me a lot - in particular to temper my expectations, as I couldn't let my emotions run loose. Debating is fun, and my shyness quickly went away because of it. Unlike most first-time speculators, I was also charged with dealing with trolls, flaming and other weirdos; I couldn't turn a blind eye to most stuff (unlike what I'd do in a similar RL situation).
The site has functioned as a life-support system for me more than once. I've been through some tough times at college and high school and this site was often the sole bright spot in an otherwise miserable day.
I've met a lot of nice people on this site, many of who are as much my friends as are my RL buddies. There are honestly waaay too many to list (probably >200 at this point, haha), but I'd like to thank everyone here for making these 3 years an enjoyable time, as well as making this site an awesome place to be.

Her forward aerial, where she swings her crown forward. A lot people hate it because of it's low lag, deceptively good range, and high KO power (easily killing before 100%).

Well... Consider the amount of time people spend on forums everyday, just to interact with other people about similar interests. Friendships can blossom, people often discover new things about themselves, and we watch ourselves grow as individuals. And as it becomes more and more routine, you realize how much it matters to you. There's another community I've been a part of for 10 years, and I've made absolutely amazing friends there, who have helped and supported me when I was discovering new things about myself and have been struggling with real life stuff, and I to them as well. They've all made a massive impact on my life, and to think, I would've never befriended any of them had I not simply registered an account there. Something that small, that I took 10 seconds out of my day to do 10 years ago snowballed into something incredibly huge for me. So, we make posts about our milestones when our post counts hit nice, big, round numbers, because they really represent how much time we've spent there and how important that time has been to us, whether we want to admit it or not. Of course, not everyone gets the same experience from the next person, but in the case of having 25k posts, this place must be important to FalKoopa regardless of if he'd posted about his milestone or not.I never understood why people made those commemorative posts, honestly. They don't really seem that significant.

Funny that, my sister is also going to give me Amiibo. The Sonic Amiibo and the 30th Anniversery Mario Amiibo.
Did your sister get him for retail? I would have asked for amiibo I don't have that are rare like him for Christmas but I refuse for my giftgivers to get scalped just to get him for me as a gift. I'd rather wait for a large scale restock.
I still need to get a Meta Knight amiibo...waiting for the day they finally restock it.
