I think the sole reason why the ICs got into Smash in the first place was because of their gimmick. A fighter that has two characters on the field at the same time is unique and brought something new to the (battle)field. Removing that gimmick by making it Sopo would make them... not boring, just eh.

They should have just made Ice Climbers into a single Ice Climber. Like I said once, the gimmic didnt impress me, and possibly even took away from what could have been a much better character. And then there's chain grabbing.

I'll be honest, even as a person that dislikes playing as the ICs, I'd rather that they either be brought back as two, like they were, or not come back at all.

That's just me though.

Sakurai has a well defined foundation for each character's basic moveset premise and prefers to keep them over the series, even if some moves may change. This is why we still have Ganondorf as a Captain Falcon derivative, for example.

Luma doesn't have much of an AI. He's directly controlled for the most part, except for him returning to Rosalina after a while.

Honestly, if the Climbers were chosen to represent the NES era, and were chosen over more recognizable characters simply because of their gimmick, I'd rather that gimmick stay intact. Just make Nana unable to grab or something.

But then again, I've never enjoyed playing as the Ice Climbers, and I have an immense negative bias toward them because of Crusade:

The Ice Climbers were when I started to become THE BluePsychic, and they look awful too.

I wouldn't call myself adhering to any ideology, but I'm more of an agnostic-atheist rather than an outright atheist.

My belief is that there's no way to tell if God exists or not as we lack any kind of irrefutable evidence to back up any claim. We can't tell that God exists, but we can't tell that God doesn't exist either nor do we know if there's one god or multiple gods.

There's no evidence. There are no indicators that help any side of the question. Without evidence, there's no way to back up a premise.

However, I do defend that God, as described in Abrahamic religions (such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam), doesn't exist. Those religions describe God as omnipotent, omniscient, merciful and good. If God is exactly as described, wouldn't he have the power to make this world better? Wouldn't he be benevolent and good-nature to rid the world of its evils? Wouldn't he know the solution to all of this world's problems?

I fail to see why such an all-powerful, benevolent entity would ignore the problems of this world and wouldn't use his might to turn it into something good. Therefore, it stands to reason that God, as an omnipotent, omniscient and benevolent being is something that doesn't make sense from a purely logical point of view.

Therefore, I live my life and form my own opinions with atheism in mind. The God described in those religions doesn't and cannot exist in my own point of view.

Also, I don't intend to debate. You're free to believe in what you think is right. So, whether you agree or disagree with me, let's just leave it at that and respect each other.
