AM, you've really pumped the breaks after D1, what are your reads on Soup, MM and LAK?

There was a full readlist posted yesterday. And one above this one. LAK is the only one I've *****ed out on and I'm not gonna really have anything solid on him anytime soon if I'm being real. He's a lot of wrong, a lot of useless, and a lot of probably town anyway. His best attribute is that there are multiple people ahead him in line for the noose.

Okay LAK, here's Rockin now that I'm caught up. He merits further research. I agree with you in that his refusal to claim is garbage. I agree with you on that front, but I'm not hung up on it. Rockin has more than one thing that make him look grody, but whether or not he fits on a theoretically mafia team hinges a lot on what Orbo flips (role as well as alignment) and what J flips. He is not off the docket, but neither is he priority one. He sits with KevMo on my to-do list. Orbo and J, however, have GOT to go.

@MM/Rockin/LAK/JTB/Soup: I have a question for you guys, what do you guys make of AM coming into the thread purely to just add fire to the Recruiter business? He doesn't say much of who is scum or the like, but more tries to focus on that aspect of trying to throw someone (primarily myself) as the candidate for the recruitee. Is it scummy, in your eyes, to focus on Recruitee>Mafia or the way AM is going about it?

There's nothing much to really say about it. From the looks of it, he barely seemed to have time so as to propertly give a post of what he thought of the Day so far. So in this, it looks null to me.

NOTE: I realized something as I typed this, but I left the earlier stuff in.

Look at his situation, and you can correct me if I'm wrong.

Rockin, Orbo, and AM were THE wagons before Gorf got put in the fire. IIRC, those were essentially all that was being discussed. Gorf casually pushed on Orbo and Rockin and hard buddied me. Quite frankly, that really ****ing sucks for me, but that's not what I'm getting at at the moment.

Those were his stances. Those were his top picks. He wasn't pushing hard at either of them, not in a way that had any real effect on the game, but when the heat got turned up on him, that's all he had. He actually went hard on ROCKIN when he started to boil. I'm actually not sure if he was on Rockin before, which would make me wrong and could make me second guess him, but why in the world does this help Orbo escape to a town read? He jumped AWAY from Orbo when he got in trouble despite having him as scum, I'm pretty damn sure I called that out when it happened.

Gorf actually got on me with a vote during my 2nd post of D1 and has actually voted on me along with Legolas.

Well, there is the fact Rockin hard-defended orbo at first, even though he was his first vote. I'm trying to look at the bigger picture here.

My first vote was actually Legolas. I stated that I was cool with Orbo being lynched, but I DIDN'T like how the wagon formed like that.

LAK, you're such a parasite. Rockin doesn't need to claim at all and the wagon on him has given us so much to think about that a roleclaim now would only give us an information overflow. The play toDay is between J and Orb, MAYBE LAK but not Rockin or anybody else. If you keep bringing up non-plays you only loose the focus on players that need to go. Rockin might be a bit silly but I really can't see him destroy town in the same manner LAK does.

Really wish I would've been more forceful about lynching you D1 ... now it's kind of to late to rid us of people like you -.-

random observation: me/gheb/j/kevin have had similar voting history all game yet throw my name out on the recruitee prospect this dayphase. its clear that some protown players in this game actually have entertained the idea of me being recruited (lego/jtb/j/gheb/maybe kevin?) but its ****ing pathetic cuz my "change of play" hasnt been without reason. dunno if theres a scum hiding in that group ****ting on me or just horribly lazy play atm

I see Rockin tripping over his words, but that post actually makes me feel better about him than worse. He seems to be saying pretty explicitly that he had Orbo at null until he had an issue with something involving Gorf's claim and now he thinks he's scum. What he intends to say is pretty obvious to me.

He's actually helped a LOT by the fact that I'm pretty sure he's flat wrong about what Orbo and Gorf said in the thread and I'd think he would know what the scum game plan was if he was a part of the team.

Had a rethink with the first quote on TvS on Gorf and Orb due to the first quote, then rethought the situation with the second. Gorf bussing both his buddies, don't see it.

Thought Potion could have been a second night kill, but then in the end it's a 13 man and that is an awkward night kill to try and get out. And for what we know we are clueless on how the kill in this game might work since no flips other than our lynches have worked.

I'd be willing to met at a middle ground and have him claim since I think I approached this wrong with how I thought Gorf's intentions were or might have been.

MM, if you can't be here for super serious until Thursday, that's cool. I'd like if I can get your take on a couple things before then though. I can get you're J read and your take on Orbo-Gheb connection when you can be here, which is the really serious business but is also likely to take a lot more time. Rockin is less serious business, but I also really don't need to talk to you about it to help move forward.

What I want from you is KevMo. I asked if he was just lazy or if he was scum, which is a lot like what you just said you didn't know. Talk to me about what to do with him. J and Orbo are DEFINITELY higher on my priorities list, but I'm scared of KevMo in this game like I'm scared of Nabe whenever I see him. I'm scared he gets to a later stage in the game and steamrolls a thinned out playerlist. I'm gonna be honest, while I think I know KevMo the person alright, I don't know Kevin the mafia player yet. All I have to go on is memories of age old games that are worn thin from all the games I played inbetween and SKumminM from MP2. I will tell you right now that, without a doubt at all, if I look into KevMo, I'm going to read scum. That is what I'm going to default to if I'm still alive and the game isn't over after Orbo and J are dead. Unless they do something that changes it between now and then, I'm going to push him over Rockin who I would push over LAK/Gheb. So talk to me about him. Am I right? Am I completely off base? Is there another way I should look at KevMo? I'm less worried about finding KevMo scum (that's easy). I'm more worried about how to find KevMo town, if that makes sense.

Probably rambled a little because I was typing this in small bits and forgot what I've already said.

A thought occurred while I typed that, but I wanted to post it first. I'm going to see if he's been right this game, lol. Like, I remember absolutely adoring the post he made where he said he would load a gun and shoot one player, then another, then another. I do not remember the list, but I remember none of them were strong players, but I thought all the power players were town (save maybe Gheb, but he tests my definition of strong player [suck it Gheb]). I'm going to get Laundry to look through my posts and tell me Kevin's stances and the days they were on because I KNOW he's been listing names even if I don't remember him doing much more than joining wagons.

I have a more updated read on LAK since he's been posting. It's better than the straight null, but he stays around the same position on my read list. However, I'm not sharing it quite yet.

In fact, I'd prefer if

NO ONE EXPANDS ON LAK UNTIL J DOES!!!

He's been skirting around LAK all day phase (LAK as a recruit target? Are you ****ing serious?) and I want him to be first in line for show and tell.

No, I'm actually just busy yesterday and today with plans to see a couple of my friends before I leave so gotta say, that>Mafia no contest. =P

Wanna know my read on LAK? Well I wish I could expand upon it more but until I can respond to you and Gheb tearing me a new one toDay over this hard-on you have for me being recruited, I'll let ya know no one can be more upset about this recruitment thing then me+LAK by any means.

I've known LAK has been 100% town this entire game and now that may have been taken away from us. We are trying to figure this out.

Marshman, I still don't get why you're *that* baffled about people considering you a recruit target. I mean, I could understand you if people openly suspected you or pushed a case on you because of it but so far that's not the case and probably just people thinking out loud. And I'm not even going to lie if I know there's a recruiter in *any* game you'd always be one of the first players I'd take a particularly careful look at. Let's face the facts: You are the most experienced playerslot by far, the two heads have rather conflicting ways of playing this game and are thus a lot more annoying to read than AM, where Laundry is doing most of the posting. In addition to that I don't remember you even getting voted once in this game so you can't say you aren't a natural contender for a recruitment.

With that in mind it shouldn't be *that* hard to understand why people think it's more likely that you are recruited than most other players - we all know it's WIFOM and at least *I* will not push a case on it so stop bringing it up unless it actually becomes a case of people suspecting you.
If anything, it's the fact that you still turn a blind eye to how scummy J is that really annoys me about you.
