I have to say Wir Fliegen is my favorite track from Xenoblade X so far.


So blood pumping, yet so calm and focused. Hope it is a battle theme. :3

I'm nervous for the balance patch. I hope none of my mains will get nerfed (though I am kinda expecting MALLC to be removed). I am the most nervous for Luigi because he is said to be one of the best characters in the game...

If it reminds you of Attack on Titan, then it should. The composer for Xenoblade Chronicles: X is the same one for Attack on Titan, as well as other animes like Kill la Kill.

Overall, even though I miss ACE(and Yoko), I still think having Sawano doing the tracks for the game is for the better. Sure, there are times when I utterly disagree with his style(focuses on the climax too much) and of his fondness for English rap, but he still brings a breath of fresh air to the series.
I fear that ACE would have tried to make it too close to Xenoblade's soundtrack. For example, this is a song for a game he wrote after Xenoblade.
... Yeah... It's an inferior knock-off of YWKON....
So yeah...
Wir Fliegan is amazing though. It's a great song. I hope it is a battle theme that plays in Nocturne Forest. That would fit amazingly.

I don't think MALLC will be removed, they would either have to force the mode change animations and prevent them from being cancelled into anything, or just remove the animations, and I don't see either of those happening.
I fear that ACE would have tried to make it too close to Xenoblade's soundtrack. For example, this is a song for a game he wrote after Xenoblade.

While listening to that song, you can hear the same type of riffs as in YWKON.
Both songs have a build up. A riff that's pretty rockin'. The song then gets calmer, but then adds more instruments. And then the amazing part after the calm part. YWKON just does each of these parts better.

I actually just took him down, apparently I hadn't upgraded some things, RPG menus tend to get me confused.

So I should actually go for the side quests? I've just went right through the story as it went out so far.

Edit: Do you ever actually need to use any of the random items you find, or should I just sell them all?
I went back to Colony 9 to do side quests and found an area I hadn't been to before.


Why on earth is there a level 70 something flamingo thing?
As Lozjam said, if you'd like an explanation on anything, myself, and I'm sure many others here, know the game inside out.
- For the sidequests, you may as well pick up every one you see. You'll complete them without knowing. Be aware that some quests are mutually exclusive - meaning choosing one quest will remove access to an alternate quest. These will only happen with named NPCs and Shulk will usually have a Vision upon accepting the quest. It never affects anything gameplay-wise, but will usually affect how the affinity tree looks.

- If you ever find yourself underlevelled, go and complete some sidequests. Heck, even just go for an explore - you get EXP and all that good stuff just for finding new places.

- Was already explained, but yeah - I do like that they've mixed in high-levelled enemies with the low-levelled. It makes it feel like a real ecosystem. Also gives a huge sense of achievement when you can return and beat the things that've been taunting you since the start of the game.

To be fair you're probably going to be able to leave Lyn in her underwear so...


-No upgraded arts run
-No arts run (ZR removes arts)
-beginning armor only run
-Shulk/Melia/Sharla only run
-no Monado Arts run (this seems impossible because lol Mechon)

Dunban's skills make Naked run semiviable
My brother started a beginning-equipment run. Shulk slowly became really OP compared to the rest because the Monado improves with Shulk's level. It was in Sword Valley that he gave up on the default equipment because it left everyone else useless in battle - he was finding this even in the non-Mechon battles. I might do a default-or-no armour run at some point, too.

Tomorrows is the day. The day greninja will get nerved. Diddy will be buffed, and sheik gets her *1,2 movementspeed.

Also, shulk get's monado purge, to remove all nerfs and buffs.

Because Shulk doesn't have the luxury of weapon swaps, the Monado's damage output is actually scaled by Shulk's level (Source - contains spoilers). He becomes the only one doing real damage. Even when you cast Enchant or Topple something, the rest of the party is still doing pitiful damage, haha. I'm not sure how the rest of the characters' stats are affected by level, now that I think about it.

Yeah that'd be a good idea. Worst case, you can probably just level up heaps. Maybe you can do something with Sleep status, or forced Daze with Thunder?

Mewtu is a damn lot of fun. But I probably won't play him compeditive, he seems so slow.
Side+B and Downsmash ist truly a devestating combination... but no match for our Monado boy!

Has anyone noticed something different yet? Except that I can escape the ganon Side+B Dtilt combo now, and maybe a few landing lags (uair) I didn't noticed anything yet. But what do I know, I just have started testing yet.
