Well, ICies, Wolf, and Lucas could still be unlockables, the leaked roster didn't show the full roster (one of the leaked shots shows All-Star mode locked, meaning not all characters have been unlocked) so hopefully that's what happens...

Final thing, anybody know who the heck that guy at the end of the trailer who said "Fancy meeting you here, Monado boy." I have 0 knowledge of Xenoblade.

That's the main antagonist for the first half of the series, Metal Face. He shows up in the beginning, kills Shulk's love interest, and is immune to the monado (which was a surprise since it only can't hurt humans) until Shulk unlocks its power further.

Well this was a good day for Smash news (albeit spoiled news ), Shulk looks effing awesome, but I have some questions:

1. Was there anything else of note in the direct? (or link to translated one if available)

2. What does this mean for everyone's favorite psychic type genetic clone, space pirate and uhhh.... Dixie Kong? (shut up, it's 8:30, I'm groggy and way too tired to start making up more character euphemisms and go back to analyzing the Ninka leak thread lol)

Glad to see Shulk in though, and he looks like a character I could really get into, but like with any character I'll have to play with him for a while to really know. So many good characters for SSB4.

I don't have a source on me myself honestly but I've seen one source somewhere in the Ridley thread and while I haven't followed said source since then, I did hear something about it being leaked by the main source of the leaks instead of the guy Sakurai probably assassinated. But I do remember that this guy specifically mentioned Shulk's 5 styles well before this trailer came out but I'm still gonna take his words with a grain of salt because honestly the Koopalings being costumes doesn't make any sense to me after Sakurai said one of the reasons why Lucina isn't a Marth alt is because of size differences.

For the original post, I couldn't care less about who he is or what game he came from. Not denying of how well he's implemented into the game, but neither am I excited from his addition. He's just another swordsman with a unique "perk" from what I see.

Okay, so it isn't Monado Monday (sorry Rogersbase), but Monado Friday is good enough for me! I've never played Xenoblade, but just as a character, Shulk looks worth all the hype I've heard about him. Sorry, that was my fault. It was Chorus Men, not K. Rool. It all starts to blend together.

Rule of thumb, though; Pix or it didn't happen. The leaker's throwing in false information on top of his true claims, making a big mess out of everything and potentially screwing up a lot of people's impressions of the game when it comes out.
