Alph was charging his Down-Smash when you hit him with the Raptor Boost.

From the SmashWiki:

A character receives 20% additional knockback when hit while charging a smash attack.

I can't believe I never knew you took additional knockback while charging a smash attack. Even Still, I wouldn't think that it would still be able to kill at 42% even with additional knockback and Alph being a light character. Now I know that raptor boost is a great punish for opponents committing to hard reads though. Thanks for the info!

So just some silliness: i was challenged to come up with a combo that utilizes all of Captain Falcon's aerials in one combo, and this is what I came up with.

I didn't have a terrible amount of time to re-record the second combo so it's not perfect but it's frame tight if you're fast. Those lagless knees are just too inconsistent and difficult to pull off to be practical haha.

watching this match, as well as noticing from my own games, is showing me just how valuable Perfect pivot jabs are with falcon.

there were like 10 opportunities in which that tech could have been applied, its something im trying to work on.

its perfect for those moments where you and you opponent are faceing away from eachother but withing grab range. idk i'll see how effective it is once i get better with it.

Hey guys! So I'm super new to smash in general, (smash 4 is my first time playing) and I'm a huge fan of Falcon AND Falco, so I go by Captain Falco online. Anyway, I'm terrible but I hold myself to the rules of my 2 mains:

- Prefer the air
- Combo as much as possible
- Be a stylish gentleman

This is my highest damage I guess string if you want to call it that and I'm quite proud of it.
