I learned alot of things from our last briefing. I just realized that all of our flags are based off the United States of America flag. Usually having to deal with an eagle honor and some other stuff.
The State of Illinois is the 21 state admitted to the United states of America, it is the most populous and demographically diverse Midwestern state and the fifth most populous state in the nation.Chicago contains small industrial cities and great agricultural productivity in central and western Illinois, and natural resources like coal, timber, and petroleum in the south, Illinois has a broad economic base. Illinois is an important transportation hub; the Port of Chicago connects the Great Lakes some examples are Lake Erie, and Lake Suprior. Illinois is often viewed as a microsocm of the United States; an Associated Press analysis of 21 demographic factors found Illinois the "most average state.
Approximately 66% of the population of Illinois resides in the northeastern corner of the state, primarily within the city of Chicago for the fact that there is large industrial companies. The climate for this region humid moderate winters and around 48 inches precipitation (aka rain.) It is one of states from the Manufacturing Belt also called the Rust Belt.
The south is know for it's growing crops, and "Florida" is the oldest surviving European place-name in the U.S. Juan Ponce de León, a Spanish conquistador, named Florida in honor of his discovery of the land on the evening April 2, 1513, six days after Easter and still during Pascua Florida, a Spanish term for the "Flowery Easter" season, and for the land's appearance as a "flowered land." The climate of Florida is tempered somewhat by the fact that no part of the state is very distant from the ocean. North of lake Okeechobee, the prevalent climate is humid climate, while south of the lake has a true tropical climate. The varied landscape of Wisconsin makes the state a popular vacation destination for outdoor recreation. Winter events include skiing, ice fishing . It is the home of the Greenbay Packers. They are know for their cheese.
