It really is a nice touch to the podcast

Mailtime could definitely be something very productive in the podcast.

Perhaps there could be a bit more to the segment as well?

It could still be mailtime, but perhaps, after the rest of the questions are asked, you could pull out a few questions of your own that we, the listeners, can answer back to you. Those answers could then be listed at the end of other episodes of SMYN.

The reason I suggest this is because I think it'd be really cool to have a mutual interview of sorts between us listeners, and yourself, Youko. It'd be a really nice way for us to get to know you, and you to get to know us.

Not really a question, but sorta a comparison and note for you guys. The tournament mode and Mr. Resetti updates in Japan [Japanese] and America [English] both had diffrent screenshots a lot of the time. I just thought I'd throw that out there, for evaluation, and a heads up.

And I got a few title ideas for this week:

"Items, tournament mode, AND TROPHIES?"

"Three too many items"

"The bad updates Strike Back"

"Return of the Items" [gotta love the two Star Wars references]

And I agree with the poster above [though I'm a avid clone supporter, to support a bigger roster]. Decloning like Luigi was done from SSB64 to Melee...we want some of that with current [returning] clones. I think that is a good issue to touch on. Since ya know, it IS contriversal.

How unfortunate of an update Friday. Hopefully, we will see a good week next week. But why give good updates on Halo 3 Launch week? think people will care all that much in a whole? Get the items out of the way on a week where there is little hype for Brawl and get rid of some of the most mundane of updates. This is just a little for Youko to think about during his podcast - and to get people to understand next week won't be amazing either, IMO.

All of that was a roundabout way of saying that this week, we should all focus on the new segments, the feature for Season 2's kickoff. It seems now, more then ever, these things need shine.

Also I hope this isnt a bad episode to start off season 2. Usually if I don't enjoy the updates, the show isn't all that enjoyable either.

Basically covers both Final Smashes revealed this week. So there you go!

I'd say this week was actually pretty good. Two final smashes, the confirmation of trophies, tournament mode, and the de-confirmation of a character that should not be playable.
