I'm very much glad you don't use the three letter f word and call things gay to mean they are stupid here... but coming from one of your fans I really hope you never do. Hearing you say that really was quite a shock. I suppose that's my own fault, but I sort of look up to you because I find your podcast, and even more so you ability to make one, worthy to be looked up to. I suppose those two instances I mentioned are actually a pretty strong pet peeve of mine, but as a... well being who I am, that's understandable. I realize it was my choice to click on it and even to continue to listen to it, but I still felt I should express my opinion on this situation... :/

Oh, and your #1 is dead on. That's little tidbit bugged and ruined the ENTIRE show for me. Even when I was young and actually tried to watch it.

I honestly don't find it hurtful or offensive. I'm a huge fan of British humour and comedy, (Which is very often extremely rude) and I found his thing to be pretty tame. I mean, compare it to the wonders of Little Britain or LOG, this stuff is kiddy. I think the main shock for many of you guys is that it's our innocent Youko saying it.

I really think you guys should just have a more open mind.
I'm not trying to cause havoc or take pokes, but I think it's good humour.

I'm mainly saying this because...well, Youko, I don't want you to tone it down. I think it's great as it is. It's really not that bad anyways.

Guys, people change after all. Or do I have to mention again that I did this six months ago, plus. Why do you think the Youtube account name is different, anyway? You can even check the join date in the Youtube profile if you don't believe me. Bottom line is I didn't create it to be hurtful, and perhaps it was against my best judgment to use it as an Easter Egg, and for that I am truly sorry.



Now for Blackadder's answers:

- I don't know if Youko is taken on Youtube, anyway. I joined SWF in June and made the PBT four months before that, even. I had uploaded the videos this week because I had never wanted to split it up into parts and I had just forgotten about it, because the whole thing is like 12 minutes long and Youtube doesn't like that. And plus I had no idea what else to do as an easter egg - *gasp* am I running out of ideas?

- Naturally I am keeping the actual SMYN content as clean as I can. And it's for this reason exactly, you never know who will find something to be in bad taste. Why do you think the boards have the strict profanity laws, anyway?

- Again, regarding the stale voice, six+ months ago. Believe it or not, if you listen to episode 1 again, you'll find that my voice isn't as confident as it now is. It's all about confidence with the mic, I guess.



You can't make everyone happy I guess. I can promise you all though that the Smash material will stay as immaculate as I can make it, like it has been, even if easter eggs that I've recycled from my own personal past because of I'm out of options are a scoch off. I'm sorry.

Meh, you don't have to apoligize for the Pokemon Bottom Ten - it was pretty funny and very true. It was nice to see a little more loose-tie Youko, makes you more human.

Moving on, I hope you release some of the new segments soon - it might be difficult to do some of them with a limited time frame. I know you said you'd release them mid-week, (I think) but I want to see what the new segments are - it's killing me.

I've heard just about every insult there is to hear about my sexuality. Hearing them anymore is just a laugh nowadays. I don't feel like hiding myself for who I am anymore, after countless years of lying to myself. Thanks for the compliment, though. I appreciate it =)

Anyway, I look forward to the second season of the podcast. Very much enjoyed the first season. Gave me something to do on Sundays.

I hope to be able to send in a Viewpoint or some other kind of segment sometime. I was actually working on a Show Yourself a couple weeks ago, right before it was announced that there wouldn't be anymore of those =P Oh well.

It's a Brawl discussion podcast, and allowing this to come in before the updates are even over and the game is out seems like a step in the right direction at the wrong time. I can see this as a very good segment later on in the Podcasts life, but as for now, I can't be excited for it. I'd like to hear of Brawl in my Brawl Podcast, kthx.

I'm thrilled to here that you are having a one-on-one discussion with Panda. It should make things more lively. My humble suggestion is that for this segment you should comment on short questions sent in by people on Smashboards. Every week, one of you could read out a short question sent via PM, ("What character would you most like to appear?", "How do you think crawling will affect gameplay", etc.) and this could drive your discussion. Just a thought.

Did I say questions had to be not involving Brawl? I'm pretty sure I didn't. I placed emphasis on other video games, sure, but Brawl questions are still encouraged. If you want Brawl in the Brawl podcast, do something about it. I'm trying to see how this pans out, and thus determine the fate of Show Me Your News post-release.

I don't see how people can be disappointed in this when, like always, you the fans determine which direction this goes in. I'm just your happy little medium through which the material passes through.

The more I think about it, though, I don't care what you send questions in about. Brawl, other games, anime, sports, tv shows, music, let me have it. Again, this is up to you all and how you handle it.
