Holy cow, I could not disagree more with this. I lived in Korea for two years; the foreigners who learned Korean the best were the ones who watched TV. I wasn't allowed to because I was busy being a missionary, but learning the language at its deepest level requires learning at the most casual level. Have you forgotten how babies learn a language? They learn first to use slang, to make random sounds, and express things improperly. They slowly refine it through school and whatnot. By watching tons of Anime, I bet SamuraiPanda knows Japanese on a far more intimate level than most scholars of Japanese. There were dozens of other missionaries who knew way "less" Korean than I did, but they could communicate far more effectively than I could. Learning a language goes way beyond just studying it mathematically (through direct memorization and whatnot).

There never is a Hyper Knuckles. It's Super Knuckles and Super Shadow. Hyper is when you get the 7 emeralds and the 7 super emeralds or something.

Haha. Or should I say "Mon Dieu!" Whatever, I think they are the same, but I'm from USA, that's why. I'm not that great with my French but at least I get the accent usually.

With Chinese, the teacher was so demanding I get it, but its not my fault I was taught early that English didn't use sounds in association with words in that language. In Chinese and usually other Asian languages, they have a set amount of words, but there are about more than one way you say that word, kind of like music. You have to do a different pitch, and I just couldn't do that since my voice is pretty low, not low but pretty deep, and I just couldn't speak it the "right" way my teacher wanted me to say it. Well that's history anyway. If I get lost in China, I know how to get through the basics at least so its okay now. Its not like I'm going to be using that language every single day of my life like English though.

You would agree, however, that you can't learn a language just from watching anime?
I think that's the point the person you quoted was trying to get across.

there is no super knuckles or tails but there is hyper knuckles and tails when you get the super emeralds and super shadow AKA hyper shadow are the same but ppl just made up hyper shadow because he wasn't goled but hes not hyper hes just super but everyone calls it hyper shadow

uh, Mr. Panda, about Part 1, Matt Casamassina is NOT in with Nintendo. Trust me, I know. When he finds something out, he posts it on IGN. And when he finds something out and gets embargoed, he tells us and he even gives us the subject matter of the embargo. As for Brawl, we know more about the game than he does. trust me.

I know accents are super important. That was what my point was earlier.

I don't concur. My voice stays consistent in usually one pitch. If I stress something out, my voice cracked. Thats what usually happened during Chinese class and there was no possible way I could make one word differentiate it from the "same" sounding word. So I switched classes. Easy for you to say you can perform Chinese since your voice has a range of pitches. Not everyone is born that way );

I think iTunes is too hard to use, so I use Windows Media Player instead.

Sariku.Uchiha was rough. He's usually so docile talking about characters. Just because there are fans of Sonic, doesn't mean that everyone is. These podcasts are for everyone, not just for one fan club.

Haha, he just commented above my post. What are the odds?!

I like the Koopa Kids. Miss them little critters. Its a family reunion in the making lol.

I don't like the pay and go system. That's probably why.

I don't own an I-Pod but is it basically an MP3 player. Can Windows Media Player upload songs into an I-Pod? Sorry for going off course guys.

Here's something...they are having a debate about trophies haha. They should check out BrawlCentral then. That site explained every trophy that was shown during the Coin Launcher update.

I wonder why they haven't put Chain Chomps into the SSB games until now. In my opinion, they would be a cool addition to a Mario stage actually. But then again, that interferes with hardcore matches...

Ok, we were both wrong. There's a Super Knuckles and a Hyper Knuckles, there's a Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic, and there's a Super Tails. Then there's Super Shadow.

I never said I could speak Chinese. If I could though, I'd know the not nearly as useful Cantonese.

There is Super Sonic. Ultra Sonic... Dark Super Sonic (From Sonic X).
Super Knuckles I didn't know about. But I know about Ultra...
It isn't Super Shadow. Not in the American anyways, It's only Hyper Shadow.
And Super Silver...

Oh, and then there is Chaos Powered Knuckles and Tails... (From Sonic Heroes)

There is Super Sonic, Super Knukles, Super Shadow, and Super Tails. Then there is Hyper Sonic, and Hyper Knuckles

Chaos Emeralds = Super Sonic, Super Knuckles (S3&K), and Super Shadow.

Super Emeralds = Hyper Sonic (S3&K), Hyper Knuckles, and Super Tails

Tails is to young/weak to go Super with only the Chaos emeralds. It takes the Super Emeralds for him to reach his first transformation. The others are all strong enough to transform once with the Chaos Emeralds. The Super Emeralds enhance Sonic & Knux's (and assumedly Shadow's) Super forms to their hyper forms.

Sorry to dispute you, Sariku, but there is no Ultra form. Trust me, the only Sonic game I HAVEN'T played is Chaotix.

I'm on the trophy part now in the podcast...I loved trophies, because I love the descriptions. Stickers are indeed useless. Waste of space, unless they finished the game and then had time to kill and decided to use the last of the usable memory on stickers. They aren't the reason why I'm buying Brawl though. I'm buying Brawl for the characters keeping me busy for years, as well as the modes to keep me busy if I get bored of fighting with other people.

In my Version I PROMISE YOU it's Hyper Shadow. We may be getting confused between versions with DreamCast and GameCube. Either or, SA2B had alot of voice glitches in it anyways. "I AM THE ULTIMATE-" "I'LL USE YOUR ... CHAOS CONTROL!" Shame they never finished/completed their sentence.

For real..? I SWEAR I saw Jason Griffeth on Wiki as his Voice Actor..

It's been a pretty funny podcast so far. My only gripe is that the whole trophy update, I kept screaming the names of the trophies in vain whenever you guys were stumped.

Yeah, I'M that obsessed guy you were talking about. Can I be on SMYN now? :p
