I was wondering about what I could *try* and make a viewpoint about. I wonder how you guys would judge me. I mean, everyone I know here (Edit: As in my country) tells me I have an american voice/accent, and perfect english, but thats because my country is filled with people who speak with this thick *** latin (american) accent and a very common mispronounciation of words.

(Edit: Also, I wonder if my location actually changes my view about some of the things you guys think, and stuff like that)

I am gonna go and look for a topic and my mic and make one tomorrow maybe. After my final final finnaly!!! (XD, LMAO)

Speaking of finals... mine arn't until January. And technically they arn't finals... they're semester tests. That's what I get for only being in 11th grade...

And we don't get out for Christmas until friday this week.


Raykz - I don't think you're location would effect much on your standings on video games... Maybe on real life issues more often, and it's very possible to have it effect your standings on games, but I would be willing to doubt it.

I have semester finals/midterms in three weeks(1 week after christmas break).
They are the worst ever.
Finals are nice because they are so spread out at my highschool i come take two tests and im out.

Well yea, I guess not but there are some things, that I will, (whats the word), express, (I guess), differently.

Also some things, like the fact we get the exact same american games (as in NO-CHANGE-AT-ALL) 2-4 months later or the fact that they sell video games 3-5 times the price over there (The Wii was 18000 pesos here {Currently 14000-16000 I believe} 1 dollar = ~33-34 pesos, so that would be 525 dollars for a Wii {And they would have probably taken out Wii Sports to sell it separately. And I don't mean taken out as in it CAME separately. I mean take it out as in, they open the box, take it out, close the box, sell the wii and then sell the game for 100 dollars}) and also I can't buy any VC games (because of location)... might make a slight difference.

Although for the VC thing I could just ask my sister (who lives in the US) to buy me a Wii Point card (seeing as in how they do not sell those here), but I will wait until I go myself to the US (in 2 days )

Well most of melee's were like that. I bet there will still be battles like: Battle the Ultimate Psycho Hand of Justice, in which you will be able to pick a character

Try clearing out your cache. The file's there, but it is large and the server has been hiccuping some, so that might be making it harder for you to download it. There's not a lot that we can do about it, other than telling you to clear your cache and try again later.

Yeh, I still couldn't get it to work. Hopefully it's just this week. If not...I'll cry.

Wow... $525 for a Wii? That's just painfull... And they better be taking the price of WiiSports out of the price of the Wii if they're doing that. How on earth did you manage to get a Wii if they cost that much there? x_X But I hope you enjoy it here in the next couple days. Especially the prices on games. =P

I would think that would shape more opinions on the marketing there rather than the actual games themselves though.

I would just like to point out, that when you guys mentioned your distaste for the menu, remember that the buttons are big and bright because it will most likely be accesible with motion sensing. Pointing the Wii remote at tiny little icons wouldn't work, so they're big and bright!

I was thinking this too... that the reason for the arrangement is for motion accessability. I don't remember hearing that in the podcast, but if I'm wrong correct me. Thanks for bringing that point up Director. I would've forgot to mention it. =]

And to whoever it was that complained about how I don't mention BDS2nd (sorry, I don't want to search through the thread for the comment), its mostly because the podcast is about smash, and JUS is very similar to a smash game, while BDS2nd is a traditional 2D fighter (and a rather good one at that).

I actually waited until my first trip to the US after the Wii's release and bought it there ASAP, got my 4 controllers and all my games there too XD.

I will enjoy the prices , I am going to buy Super Mario Galaxy now, which amazingly arrived about a week or 2 ago (way too fast). But currently its about 80 dollars, so I might buy it when I arrive to the US.
