two major things i want to point out, sorry if they already have been. first, no mario music yet. we really need some, having 2 mario stages now. and second, a mistake in the podcast, you guys said mario circut was the last thing from the original trailers, what about crawling?
I definitely mentioned that I predicted an update in crawling too, samusrules93. I said with the exception of crawling, I'm hoping that the slew of Game Modes/How-To-Play updates will come to an end soon and maybe we'll get a slew of characters. If Sakurai purposely loaded us with character updates just to keep the SWF server down...that would probably be more mindgamesy than...than...something with a lot of mindgames in it. We'll probably get more stupidass option updates for at least another two weeks since Sakurai hasn't made any mention on the "Data" section yet. Though I am interested in what "Vault" has to offer...(besides being the worst tasting soda of all time).

Well you guys finally did it. Even last week, when you guys were pushing up to almost 2 hours, I managed to run during the whole run.
But going to almost 2:15:00 and the fact that I have to deal with 15 degree weather was just too much. I had to stop running before the end of the podcast. Don't worry, I kept listening, but had to stop.
First comment I'm going to make is update your windows Panda! Hearing that pop up sound every 2 min was beyond annoying.
You guys were funny as usual, though I found it strange you guys were praising some of the updates that "didn't" make the cut and ripping on some that did. But whatever.
I was kind of shocked that the quote of the week wasn't "This is the main menu." I could have sworn you guys said a few podcasts back that we were going to have a day when that was going to be the update, and sure enough it was. I was laughing my *** off, and when you guys introduced quote of the week, I thought for sure that was going to be it.
Panda, major props to dissing Halo. Anyone who can be brave enough to call the game what it is deserves a standing O.
Best brawl viewpoint since I don't know when. All 4 of those character make perfect sense to be in Brawl (I'm still torn as well on the whole Wolf vs Krystal thing). So great job to RDK on that.
Wish I could have been there for the snowfight, haven't had a good one of those since the time my XC team in college went to the cemetry and went at it. There is probably something kind of evil about using headstones for cover, but meh.

I have no idea what that is. Is that the shoe thing? I don't know if any of the "pros" are using it. I for one run 70+ miles a week, and the little ipod shuffle clipped to my shirt/hoodie/under armor etc has been good enough.
The one thing I'm sad about is that I think there is maybe 4 podcasts left before the Japan release of Brawl. At that time I'm going to stop listening and coming to the site, due to the fact that I don't want the game completely spoiled before I get it. My friends have already received death threats for talking to me about anything they might see, so hopefully I'll be okay for that month.
I might go back and listen to them in the future, but as much as I love this podcast (tis be my favorite, argh) I don't want the game spoiled. Unlike you guys, I actually enjoy one player mode and not just multi-player mode, so I want some surprises as I unlock things.

Wow, I've finally finished my final exams and I can come out of isolation from the intarweb now.
And by now, I mean after I do a bunch of crap that will leave me busy till like 9 tonight. >_<
But on a lighter note, I think I've decided what to do while Youko is gone for the most part. It'll probably be a really time-intensive (for me), but hopefully you guys will enjoy the end result: a special (2 part?) Christmas edition of the podcast.
...Assuming I can actually do it :D

I think theres 6 or 7 weeks left, cause america gets it in 8 weeks. but I agree with you about not going online to haer about the characters. this will be my first smash game i get during the first year it comes out and I'd love to get the charries by myself.
and then one day, I will challenge Youko and SP in Brawl...

Hrm... Maybe the word "Christmas" isn't the most accurate. Its not Christmas-themed (as of now) unfortunately, (because I lack the ability to make an SMYN Christmas song) it is just a special edition of the podcast that happens to be around Christmas time.

How about just Holiday Edition? And you can visually paint us a picture of you being surrounded by holiday decorations and light, and it snowing outside with a fire crackling nearby. No Fireplace? No Problem. You just finished your finals right, so I'm sure you have paper/textbooks/classmates to burn. =p
And the best part is, we'd never know if it was true or not! :D

I saw I am Legend last night (awesome) and there was a huge card board cutout for the movie Kung Fu Panda(starring Jack Black, it's animated though), and I laughed my *** off. My bud caught on and goes, SAMURAI PANDA!!!!YESSS!!!!!

It was actually far better than I expected. Give that it is a Zelda game, and Zelda games have never quite focused on multiplayer play, with the exceptions of the Four Swords Adventure and tidbits in other games such as the Tingle Tuner in the WW. But that's kinda getting off topic.
Bottom line, the multiplayer was actually very satisfying. Not something that I would play for hours upon hours upon hours, but none the less was very fun.
I actually got a tid bit annoyed with it once the luck factor started taking over. ^^; I have horrible luck. I've actually played rounds when my opponent gets 17 powerups on their combined turns and I get none throughout the entire match. But that's just my luck.
Also, the Tag Mode was intergrated with online as well. If you know what Tag Mode was, that is.

I want to do one but my mic is on the fritz so I couldn't do it unless I typed it. I will have one soon, I've got the money, just it's nuts getting into cleveland from where i am because of all this road construction, but after i get it im going to submit a viewpoint or see if i can do a trial for the roundtable or something.
