Should MK be banned Online as well?

I noticed in some forums that a few people are liking the Metaknight ban thing but think that since he seems to be more unfair/broken/impossible online, that him being banned online should be a top concern.

Do you agree with this? I suppose it does make sense in somecases (for example, tornados in slow motion lag will gurantee you aren't getting anywhere.) and the fact that the button-to-character delays are just... annoying in some cases.

But at the same time, Metaknight is not the only character massively boosted online, although he does seem to be the only one with virtually no faults online though

What do you think?

Nobody can ban a character from being used online. At best, players would have to agree to not use that character.

The only good thing about online now is that it is less laggy due to how few people play online compared to when the game first started. It is still terrible though.

Anyways, whenever I jump online and someone uses a MK, they aren't exactly the best of players.

Banning a character online?

It's understandable for competitions and tournaments; however, banning him online is nearly impossible.

We may as well just pretend that Meta Knight doesn't even exist in Smash if we are going down that route.

I suppose if it was an online tournament being promoted by SWF or All is Brawl, then theoretically, yes, MK can be banned. But why ban MK on wi-fi when the metgame has Ike, Zelda, Game & Watch and Ganondorf as top tier characters on wi-fi?

It's not possible to ban a character from wifi. Unless Nintendo did something about it, but I highly doubt they will.

I don't see a point in banning Metaknight.... He is a defeatable character if you know the MU, I've been a lot of Metaknights with ZSS and even Link... Yes, Link!
Furthermore, master your character to play well against all character.
