LOOOOOL.
Its because sheik knows what you want and has such simple tools to punish with.

Please give some detail? I saw you vs (m2k?) a while ago but all the things he caught you on were generic sheik punishes -_-

Styled on? You *****, man. If anything it was you that was styling on him.

Not many people can go toe to toe with M2K in Sheik dittos like that. I'd be proud.

If you seriously think you need help, then with what?

No1 hates kirbykaze.

He better have been kidding or he and i are gonna have a little talk.

You defiently did more styling than he did, but sadly styling only wins u games if ur playing falcone.

Styling works for every character. You just also have to remember to get the job done.

Falcon isn't unique in that. The community just has a mancrush on him for some reason.

The trouble I had in a lot of these matches had to do with me failing really easy run off Fairs because I wanted to combo off dash SH aerial but I kept messing it up. Off to the lab, I guess. I also could have poofed to the edge a bunch of times but I thought to go to the stage automatically regardless of what he was actually doing. Habits, I guess. Oh well.

Dreamland 1 and 2 I feel I just messed up a lot and got wrecked for it. Nervousness or something. I dunno. M2K is intimidating.

On FoD I should have gotten rocked but he killed himself at like 12 on his first stock so he let me back in the game. Then I got some funny combos. Yay for combos. So that tied it up. But then stage discomfort and better consistency on his part cost me the match and subsequently the set. I suck, yay.

Im not a sheik player, but u died a whole bunch from up bing straight up and getting edgehogged. While watching live i seem to remember that more than 1 of those were unforced deaths.

I'm usually better about Up+B angles / not getting into that position. I expected him to just down smash me the first time but then he hogged me and I was like "Oh yeah you can do that." The next time was... I dunno I'm an idiot. I think it only happened twice, though. I hope it only happened twice...

Atma suggests I learn how to do ground techs more consistently. I think that would probably be wise.

Im fairly sure it happened atleast 3 times over the whole of the set.

By ground techs do u/binyan mean like teching when u get downsmashed near the edge?

Cant you CC sheiks fair up to a moderate %? Obviously this doesnt help above that %, but its more for my curiosity at this point.

I know i tech alot of stuff like that by prematurly cc'ing and trying shield before i get hit.

Yes, but we're trying to survive into the low hundreds here. And DI is a meh answer to her Fair because of its gorgeous trajectory.

I CC tech a lot of stuff when I try to WD OOS but get hit.

Oh ok, low hundreds.

Idk, if u cc wont u slide off and fall below with no lag but alot of momentum? I guess not and thats what u mean by "glorious trajectory."

If you slide off with no lag but with tons of momentum you're probably dead as Sheik as a result of her poor aerial mobility and light weight. Depends on positioning and percentage to some degree.

A common solution to this is to just DI the move really well to make the send as high as possible. And then you recover from there. But Sheik's Fair kind of beats this approach by virtue of its naturally low trajectory.

So, ground tech. Ground tech isn't without its faults, because you can be hit out of it, but sometimes it is the best thing to go for.

frankly it looks like m2k is just better at the edge. big surprise.

IMO copy his edge fagging gimmicks/traps as best as you can.

i think you need to stop recovering straight up so much David. its guaranteed death, as opposed to getting knocked off again. don't put yourself in that situation.

everything else you know, stop making troll threads.

A while ago, I think you said that you struggled in getting into good ranges, but could recognise them when you were in them. Try working on being more active in your control of space, so that you can try and create more openings.

Being honest, You did style on him more, you've even told me yourself that your "thing" was death combos, and to be honest I think the winner of that set came right down to who made the most mistakes, literally, the finally blow was like a messed up u-air. I think you're really good in this matchup, so his M2K, so it just came down to who made the mistakes and who could capatalize on them more.

You're right on the doorstep of ****** his *** with a handful of needles, just keep pounding away, you'll get it, your better then some people give you credit for

You were doing fine vs Tope at P5. I don't think you have any other Sheiks to worry about, except M2K. I guess Lucien, too, and maybe Cosmo is good at Sheik dittos. IDK.
