what's the deal with taunts cos i am from uk and i don't think we have them?!?!?

i mean yeah you press the button and the character does his little animation, but i have read people having actual taunts that you type in. so when you taunt, "suck my ****!" comes up or whatever

i havent seen any one do this to me yet and i dont know how. is it cos europe sucks and they took it out for our online or what?

I use "Eat Your Veggies" Great for when I decimate someone with a well aimed veggie when they just barely get back on the screen, or some of the insane triple veggie combos I get sometimes


Of course, after serving up some veggies I ask them "How ya like that?"

You should.
And you could make your other 3 taunts the same thing, except emphasizing words.
Ex: "Your MOM's face is gay!" ," YOUR moms face is gay!" ," Your mom's FACE is gay!" , "Your mom's face is GAY" , and of course, "Your mom's face ISSSSS gay!" (in case they argue).

My favorite taunt of mine is Marth specific, but I keep it no matter who I am.
Up taunt, Marth raises his sword in the air, so the taunt is "I HAVE THE POWER!!!" (He-Man FTW!)
The rest:
Right taunt - "PLUMS!"
Left taunt - "What's eeeh?" (Courage the Cowardly Dog reference)
Down taunt - "Two Birds" (I only use this taunt playing as G&W, it kinda looks like he is flicking you off)

And with Toon Link I jump in the air, drop a bomb so it explodes without hitting me, and land and use his down taunt. It looks like hes sweeping the smoke away with his sword and then he gets tired and looks like he needs to breath from choking on the smoke. =)

These taunts are the customizable ones for Wi-Fi battle. You can't use them in real matches.

I currently have no down taunt...but since I main Kirby, and I like to spam it, maybe I could change it to "Hi!" and spam it constantly.

And I like to "taunt" by spamming Kirby's crouch-> up because it makes an awesome noise. Or you can crouch without the up sounds by going in one direction, it's even better.

At the end of a match I always use UpB during the last second. But for character-specific taunts:
G&W: UpTilt
Oli: DownB
Pika: Quick Attack back and forth
DK: Sliding UpSmash across the stage
Ganon: Sparta Kick

Those are my online verbal taunts.

If I'm playing with a speedy character, I run back and forth and grab the ledges while my opponent tries to recover. Or I'll run to the edge with C.Falcon, do his "COME ON!" taunt, run to the other edge and back, taunt, and repeat until they either recover, or put themselves in spike/knee position.

With Pit, I just start looping arrows and spamming his "You're Not Ready Yet". DK's, shoulder shrug is the bane of my friends because I spam it EVERY time I take a stock from them.

I just try to find new things to do that annoy my friends whenever we play.

over wifi go to "with friends" then go to the "friend rouster." you should have your own brawl tag above the list of fcs or "freind codes".

in that tag you may edit your name, comments, and verbal taunt settings...
