Ok I’m sorry:urg:
Alright. We'll find out more what's true in not too long, since a direct shouldn't be too far away.

Well anyway, no one's stopping you from believing in Banjo or anything. It's just it shouldn't be a reason for you to lower shantae's support. And remember you can post things in the banjo thread instead of here if you have trouble. (or you can even focus more on banjo instead of here)

I rarely post things like leaks, but I found this one funny, in a comment on 4chan:

Insider here, my wife's boyfriend works for Nintendo and might be one of Vergeben's sources. Here is the final foster, there are only 2 newcomers.
>Incineroar
>Steve (Marth echo)
>Sora (Marth echo)
>Noctis (Marth echo)
>Sans (Ness echo)
>Ken (Ryu echo)
>Fortnite Guy
>Fortnite Girl

I know just bringing out what I found
When I said you could focus on the banjo thread if you wanted, I didn't mean to take what you see there and bring it here.

We can talk about it too, but it's a big reach to think that taking down a video is a cover up, and that the leak would be true because of it.

A video showing their work isn't evidence for or against the leak so deleting the video isn't evidence for or against the leak either it's just weird, and probably only happened because a bunch of foreign fans for some video game were bombarding the comment section.
Yes, but if the comments were the concern, they could have just disabled comments. It feels more like they don't want anybody seeing that video anymore.

It might not be about the comments section. But yeah that direction makes more sense.

I think there are better explanations than about the comments, yeah. Probably still involving hasslement.
That or whoever uploaded the video just didn't want to deal with anything related.

Unrelated, I just saw this, Mrs.Milky Mrs.Milky might like it:

YESS...people dont seem to freaking understnad Why did the leaker feel the need to use Snapchat in the first place if its KNOWN to give that crappy quality?
Cause he uses Snapchat? *Shrug*
He apparently had it right there in front of him, why not just...take a photo with our common phone cameras?
I mean, he took a video. Don't see the issues especially when the blur is because they got screenshotted while in motion before the video got taken down.

Regardless of the legitimacy of the leak.
The company's reputation is being questioned because they are associated. Deleting the video is damage control.
Could be because it's real and trying to cover their butts.
Or it could be false and they are trying to distance themselves from the smash community's fervor.

But why though? I didn't see or care to watch the video, but what purpose overall does the video have in regards to Smash Bros, Nintendo, Sakurai, or the Grinch leak? Does the video show where the leak came from, as in the actual desk and area within the facility? If so I could see why they may have deleted the video, but if it's completely unrelated then there's nothing to be gained from deleting the video.

Unless you want to assume that Nintendo ordered them to delete it or that they themselves deleted it to prevent people from tying them to the leak...but that would propose that either Nintendo or ACP-PLV are following the leak very very intently...a leak that is only being discussed or largely only being discussed by the western world and English speaking people, and I just don't see why either Nintendo or ACP-PLV, a Japanese and a French company respectively, would be playing the role of Big Brother here.

It shows the (auto-cad) equipment that might been similar to make the stuff seen in the banner leak.

So people reaching say they're covering up that they have that equipment by deleting the video.
Which is silly, since lots of studios in that domain can have equipment like that. I think auto-cad was pretty popular. I havent brushed up on it though.

Also, since that was in france, and there's still probably plenty of smashers there, they would possibly be hassled by some people.

Im not sure what the reasoning behind the video deletion could be, but I do think it could be a combination of many reasons, and I feel that assuming it is a confirmation for the "leak" is a bit of a stretch.

I'm not so sure about that. They would've never deleted the video if the leak was fake, but since they did...

That's assuming, Toy. There are plenty of other reasons to delete a video, even if possibly caused by recent events. You assume a lot, and in ways that dont serve. It's also annoying. (that you keep doing it)

Umm, it's a little.. 'risky' :O

They could be deleting the video to avoid association with the leak, whether or not it is real.

The company likely wants to maintain its reputation, and being caught into a situation where they are suspected of leaking materials, violating an NDA, is a huge issue, whether or not it is real.

Ouch, I don't blame her there, anime voice acting plays peanuts compared to Hollywood. You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.

Mandatory Rottytops post, before disappearing again...

Good.

Also, I really like how each lamp is personalized for each girl.

Both of those arts are amazing. Love those.

Also why are we still thinking just because wayforward mentions blade strangers means no shantae in smash... why are some of you guys super negitive some times?

This.

Exactly. Im not even sure why people are worried about this at all.

First, Blade Strangers is not Smash, so WayForward can openly discuss it even if they are under an NDA regarding Smash.

Second, there is probably no actual exclusivity contract for Shantae in Smash. Nintendo has no real reason to secure a character for their game. It's Smash Bros. They wont lose any sales if even one of their characters is in another game.

Yeah, this is why I think Rayman still has a chance. So he's in Brawlhalla, big whoop, he's big enough and Ubi is good enough on Nintendo's side to justify an inclusion.

Exactly. Can't a company talk about another game? You guys make it sound like if WayForward makes one peep, "It's all over folks." Even if Nintendo did secure rights to Shantae, it can't banned them for talking about different games.

Thing is, didn't Nicalis say that Shantae being in Blade Strangers would be up to WayForward?
