This thread used to be fun, but now it's people constantly shoving their negativity in everyone's faces and people looking for any excuse to believe that Shantae won't be in Smash. It seems that no mater how often a leak is debunked or evidence is made against it, people will instantly believe it.

DLC is always a possiblity, and it's likly as long as she aint an assist. Also, I am still not sure on this leak myself, though I do think it would be the dream roster.

I agree with this. First of all, guys, don't hop on the leak. While it has a fair amount going for it, it is not confirmed, and even some of the biggest names in the Smash Speculation scene are questioning it.

I personally refuse to fully accept a leak, even this one, until it is 100% confirmed-without-a-doubt, so so far there are still doubts, and there still has not been any confirmation.

If they continue using the ballot for reference, continuing that support will keep them in the forefront for DLC considerations.

To answer your second question because the first could happen (especially if they wanted to do Gen 8 DLC)...

Ken I doubt placed on the ballot at all especially since Ryu wasn't a thing at the time.

Mach Rider is retro so ballot does not apply.
