zferolie says the list is fake because there is no ARMS rep. I don't really blame him for thinking that way. Even if the list is fake, Shantae still has a good chance at getting in Smash. Miis do not work for her at all (not even by making her a Sword Fighter based on Pirate's Curse) because none of them represent who Shantae really is. People can say Lip as a Sword Fighter doesn't represent who she is, but that's only because she comes from a game where she has absolutely no combat abilities whatsoever. Instead, her game is a Tetris style game, so yeah. One final thing is that Masahiro Sakurai decides who the Miis are, and I guarantee that he wouldn't make her a Mii. Like, how can you add breasts and a midriff on a Mii? Oh yeah, that's another thing. With all this combined, I personally believe a Shantae Mii Costume is off the table.

I just hope, that like last time, it won't take too long for the next reveal. It wasn't too bad this time, but when it's not a character you care for, it feels long XD
I'll still try the character tho. Well, I'll watch people play him first to see if I wanna buy, but unless he feels clunky, I think he could be alright.

Only 3 more chances to get a decent character. I am glad Min Min got in for the arms rep, but again it's a playstyle I can't get into :/

Remember how I talked about my personal theory about Masahiro Sakurai dismissing widely known characters in the video game world such as Crash Bandicoot and Rayman in favour of less significant characters like Banjo-Kazooie? Well, now it seems to have gotten more weight to it thanks to Sephiroth's arrival. He is such a left field pick no "credible" leaker was able to predict. Now, what does this mean for Shantae?

Tell me about it. Through the entire DLC portion of Ultimate's lifetime, Only two character's I've really cared about were BanjoKazooie and Min Min. Hero is interesting and Steve isn't as bad as I worried he would be, but the vast majority of DLC so far just doesn't do anything for me. So it feels like forever since something I legitimately cared about happened in Smash.

I'm super happy for everyone else, but right now I'm just hoping that the Capcom arcade thing will have Darkstalkers in it.

I think I'm getting severely burned out from Smash DLC.

Don't get me wrong, I think all the DLC Characters so far (except Byleth) were all worthy additions to Smash.
All bringing a new series and/or tons of freshness into Smash.
And Shantae still has a chance with 3 unknown fighters left for Pass 2, if nothing else comes after FP2.
So her chances remain unchanged.

However, I just can't deal with all this stress and pressure anymore.
I don't know where it comes from or why it's there, but I do feel massive anxiety with every new reveal.
And it's just getting too much. X_X

It’s normal when something is going to happen and feel pretty nervous. I was staying calm at work the whole time. It wasn’t easy because I can feel my nerves coming but I somehow fight it until I finally see who it is.

They cancelled their livestream for tomorrow's Finals.

Actually, nothing will change if people just dwell on this, focusing on yelling at Nintendo instead of taking matters into their own hands. Also, I dare you to name a single game company that hasn't done anything even slightly morally ambiguous or stupid in the name of money.

Well I don’t look at leaks anymore since SNK leak. Right now we only have 3 more slots which it’s getting smaller for 3 more chances and that’s the end. I’m bit worried about that because there are still more than 3 possible characters to be included. Crash, Shantae, Ryu, Lloyd, Dante, Paper Mario, Rex/Pyra, Dr. Eggman, who knows are all possible but it’s 3 of them And it’s unknown for now. I start to lose little bit honestly because of the gameboy spirit event. Please stop sharing false leaks unless it has any specific proof. Shantae is all I need and I’m done but I’m afraid in someway she might not join.

Activism is something that can change things. Most people just use the tag freemelee or stuff like that. Maybe some are more annoying, but there's nothing wrong with fighting for a cause. Let people care what they care about.

Lol, if you'd of asked me yesterday if Dr. Eggman was likely for Smash, I would've said no way. But Sephiroth really changed things as far as speculation goes.

Nah I don't care if it's just a little. I'm just trying to be a middle person

I used to play melee so I actually care about it and it actually sucks, even more than their video take down and the other stuff that affected fans more directly. I'm not going to do much about it myself though, but I still root for the melee fans.

At this point I care more about ultimate, and would love for a character I like with a good moveset to be in the game. It's been a bit rough considering I don't 'really' like any of the dlc characters to play with. But you learn to accept eventually, not everything can go your way. But there's still a bit of chance for the 3 next characters.
