But in all seriousness, the creator isn't at the level where he needs exactly perfect advice and all this agruing is for nothing. Spacing may not be that important in this matchup but its still an aspect of the match, just tone it down.

oh ok rofl. it was a little hard to tell since you had responded with "Uh oh. Looks like "thereaperX" knows more about Marth dittos than me" which to me suggested that you were irked because you thought I was trying to "show you up" or something - and this only would've been an issue if your initial comment was serious.

Same goes the other way around. thebluedeath1000, you are obviously supporting Emblem Lord's arguments (just because he's Emblem Lord) and as a result you are dismissing thereaperX's points without a second thought. He has to try to get his point across to you two, who are well-respected members of SWF, and that's how the "heat" in this thread began.

So show respect both ways. "Noobs" (or those with fewer posts who still might know quite a bit about the game), please try not to tick off those who are well-known on the forums. "Pros," please don't use your fame as a way to belittle others on SWF.

No, you made a un-needed post, read the first posts of this thread, I disagreed with emblem lord and we discussed the matter of what he said, Xreaper just went about things abit harsher than emblem lord wanted to take. So Read the entire thing and get the full story before you make posts.

I get really sick and tired when people say crap like that, I don't agree with people for no freaking reason, most of the time the people that I agree with on, think like I do and thus I agree with them alot.

I agrued the point of spacing with emblem lord in the beginning of this thread and the reaper jumped in, emblem lord took offense to his posting. I seen emblems point and just began to watch their discussion.

I'm not saying that was the bulk of your reasoning...but whether it was conscious or subconscious, the fact that Emblem Lord is Emblem Lord helped you in your decision.

Why is that? If it was me or thereaperX who said that spacing was meaningless, would you have said that? I'm not demeaning you specifically in any way by saying this, because everyone has this notion that respected people must say respectable things (again, I'm not even saying that Emblem Lord's point is incorrect). I'm just pointing this problem out to the whole Smash community in hopes that people will be more aware of their actions.

And yes, I did read the whole thread before posting and I have no desire to continue this discussion, or debate, or argument, or flame war, or whatever you want to call it. Let's get back to the point of "Sexy Marth Dittos."

I don't know how you made that post saying I went on emblem lords side like that if you had read this thread due to the fact I WAS AGREEING WITH XREAPER BASED ON VIEWS.

I said that spacing held an important aspect of the matchup still and xreaper thought so too.

@Balledechina: I'm not entirely sure what you mean by mentioning me in any way. I obviously joke around a lot, but I also have created many serious posts and threads, always communicating my thoughts perfectly and with a clarity that only a handful of posters on this forum can imitate.

I have also never discredited any poster simply because of the number of posts they have. I was a newb just last year, and I try not to forget that...

I guess it's cool that you are trying to back up both sides of the nonexistant "?arguement?" though.

Actually, you will find that the Black Marth's sword is bigger. This is why nobody good plays as White Marth. As long as one player is playing as Black Marth, spacing becomes a factor because he can go the distance.

Also, Marth is fabulous.

I play a guy who has played against members of DBR who I believe have at least at one point played against Ken making me obviously very knowledgeable about the intricacies of marth. I say dolphin slash is more important than spacing.

What? White Marth has the longest sword, Black Marth is the strongest and Green has priority around him. The other Marth's are equally nubs and that's what started the rivalry between Ken and Azen and the reason they retired.
