Should we follow Xsyven's idea and just make Dec 15th a tournament-sized smashfest? Reasoning would be you would get to play whoever you want, either 1v1 or 2v2, and if you want money you can MM anyway.

I agree too. Also @slave's comment... I don't think I've ever been to IHOP actually, so I wouldn't know which is better/less expensive. I do want to go there just because again I never have, but... I dunno. we'll see I guess.
Back on track, a smashfest w/ money matches would be very cool. I can finally practice with peter parker if he comes.. I always say I will and then one of us gets eliminated and leaves

. But I'm gonna have to keep my main as Doc... too much practice with him so far for him not to be the main. Ganon sure rocks though .

But no one wants to MM me ("except top one" and "unless you're Vietnamese"). And if I do end up doing one, people always only want to do a $1 one vs. me... Wait! C!Z, you promised you would do the best-of-25 set, random character ditto money match with me for $10. I'm taking you up on that offer on the 15th.
Since the 15th was supposed to be a 'Farewell Tournament', I though it'd just be better to have a huge smashfest.
That way, there's no competitive spirit (other than the MM's), and lots of friendlies. For some reason, it seems like I'm seeded against the same people every time I go up north, so it'll be a good thing for me to actually be able to play against everyone. Especially if Gojira wants me to help out on the panel. Because honestly, I don't even know how good C!Z is. I played him once in St. George, and that's it. I should know how #6 plays, right?
I think there should be random Smash challenges throughout the day, too. Like the Young Link Milk Challenge and stuff.

hmmm I would have to side with PC and make it a tourney. A huge smash fest would kinda suck because you would be running around trying to play a bunch of people, everyone would be trying to play everyone and with 20 people and even 6 TV's ell, you get the idea, alot of people sitting around.
However, im look for a brave soul to help me beat my light gun shooter on hard for the wii, ITS ****ING GAY!!!
Also im going to try to talk to gimpy one more time, if he says he can come, we are doing the bowser challenge for sure. We just need one mroe good bowser....any takers?

I'll probably be here in January. And looks like I'll have nothing to do after school ends until the whole mish thang, so whatever we end up doing is delicious. I just need to smash myself out for the next two years.

You know, I'm just going to say this honestly. With the fact that nothing can actually be decided, I'm thinking of just saying screw it for December for me. I've got things far more important that I could be doing.
Smashfest or tournament. We've already decided that this thing was going to be a farewell, so don't any of you even ATTEMPT further to try and change that. Honestly, most of this is starting to become bull****. People aren't going to make it, that's a given. We all may want to see and play each other and what not, but the reality is that it's not going to happen. This is why the date needed to be set early on, so certain people can get work off and what not. While that mostly happen, we starteded debating, again, and now we're in, well, deep ****, once again.
Make up your **** minds.

QFT, and my status is I'm in limbo atm actually while I move. The thing is my bishop isn't set up to get missions going with the new-fangled online system, and since I'm moving in like two weeks and getting set up for me would take about that long, he'd just as soon have me wait and talk to my new bishop about it. So.. yes. Limbo.
And I'll pry be here January. But I'm still up for a smashfest Dec. 15th with pancakes. Unless we want to move it to a january date..? that may be okay, I didn't know what to do with all these 5's I've been accumulating anyway :S. (I still think that a huge smashfest would be better. PC I'll MM you for $5. None of this $1 pansy stuff

Out of the 5 MM I made vs you 3 are in your favor. I'll just take this as chickening out, because the MM's total the $25 you claimed would be an easy grab for you. Either you accept these MM's which total for 25$ or you don't accept at all. If you dont accept, dont make cocky announcements like "whenever you want to lose 25$" only to back down when I make a challenge that is IN your favor.

BTW, I was one of the people that said that the 8th would be a bad date for the tourney, but, I talked with Gimpyfish (sheik slaying Bowser main) nd he is checking to see if the 8th will work for him. I am throwing this out here to see what date is better the 8th ot 15th. Trust me, it is worth getting him out here if everyone can adjust for the 8th.
Most of you are probably saying "oh its just another bowser, nothing special" Gimpy is me, but ten times better. He is much more experienced and overall makes better decisions mid match and has spectacular mind games. He recently placed second in tourney to DSF. He has beaten MANY of Calis best foxes, sheiks, falcos, marths, and what not. Like all the pros before him, he will come and **** Utah and get the 1st place posistion doing so.
So, everyone should see if the 8th can be a managable date.

The fact that Gimpyfish can "likely" come on the 8th doesn't change the fact that most of us can't.
Before you go around changing the date of SoP9, make sure he can even come in the first place.
