Oh yeah, (sorry about the double post, Gid) Sonic is faster than the naked eye in the show, not the games. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to play it. Also, they'll prbably slow him down, but he'll still be the fastest.

Think about this. Sega is a third party developer. Hal is second party,and for those who do not know Hal makes SSB not Nintendo. Sega just recently became a third party developer, SSBM was probablly started before this happen. Also it begins to cost money. Would the ICe Climber be in if they wanted to negotiate and spend the money to get Sonic and Mega Man. Think about it, there is more to making a game than what sounds good, there is the price to make it and coorpirate politics.

LEGIT STUFF:
-Sega is in talks with HAL/nintendo to have sonic in the game- he may not neccesarily be in it.

-SSB2 is sucsuptible to change at anytime before release date. dont say "so-and-som WILL be in it" without somesort of concrete evidence. rather, say "so-and-so MAY be in it becasue of blah blah reasons", mkay?

I don't even care if Big Rock is a lier. It's fun guessing who will be in ssbm. Plus all the characters he has said sound like cool characters.

Big Rock is just a user name, and who would call their child a videogame character with som #'s after it? Also, I never expected that all of you would believe me, and yes, the characters may change. This game that the kid has is also about 2 months old, so there could be changes already. Also, they could put in Sonic just because he is in very high demand. And X, I don't think I said that these characters "WILL" be in it, (if i did, i'm sorry) but I believe they will. I may be able to play the game when I get back from Italy, and then I'll tell you gys every thing.
Here's the info I was gonna give.
1. 248 pokemon in the pokeballs(i'm not sure whether this has been confirmed)
2. There are powerups! See more at the bottom.
3. In the order you fight them, the last three characters you fight in the game are:
-The Hand
-Your character's arch-enemy
-You just have to wait and see!

About the powerups: you can get three at any one time, each making you stronger. In some cases, the character will change (i.e. Megaman will become Megaman X, and i dont think Trigger will be in it, I also believe Sonic will become Super Sonic and Link will be with the Fierce Diety's Mask on, but I'm just guessing)

Note: someone listed Jiggly- and Wigglypuff in a character list. It's either one or the other

Note: you guys want proof? I can't give you any until I get back from Italy, and that won't be for about a week. I'll see about proof then.

Also, it is possible that this kid was making everything up, but I doubt it because why would he lie about this? I know his father works for Nintendo.

One way to show us proof would be a photo. It would work best with a digital cameral, but a conventional one may also work.

Hey skifri3, thats what I was planning on doing if I get togither with the kid, but I don't have a scanner.

And I forgaot to tell you guys, there will be 4 trows per character. One of DK's new throw has him slamming his opponent back and forth into the ground then flinging him, and DK Jr. has the most powerful thraow by grabbing the head then squeking and flinging him backwards, but DK Sr.'s throw does more damage.

I seriously doubt that there will be 248 pokemon in the pokeball's. A lot of the water pokemon would just flop around like goldeen and all of the pokemon's evolutions would be too similar to each other.
The force is strong with this one.

Oh wow, I'm amazed at how long this topic has lasted. BR certainly is populart now I guess. That's one way to get people's attention... Anyways all I have to say is SONIC! Are you mad! He hasn't even been in a Nintendo game yet. If they made it after Sonic Advance is out it sorta makes sense, but Sonic? Mega Man Trigger is a stretch, but he was on MM 64, but if they add Sonic why don't they just make it a none Nintendo mascot only game, and add Crash, Gex, Bomberman, Banjo-Kazooie, and Rayman? It's crazy. Also... here is what I have gathered from e-mails from Nintendo and official sources like Nintendo's very own site.

Nintendo said that all the characters from SSB will be in SSBM, and Mega Man has been confirmed by Nintendo and Capcom has confirmed that the one HAL will be allowed to put in the game will be Trigger from Legends and MM64, and his special boss (meaning all characters will probably or will have special bosses at the end of the 1 player mode) is Mega Man Juno. There you have it. The rest is up to Nintendo to provide...

I like this list of secret characters that we've come up with so far, why can't HAL add a SEGA character? It's not like the fans will complain.

Anyways, Big Rock, is that all of the secret characters you know? I thought you knew one more. Maybe I'm wrong, but there is still room in the character selection for a few more characters. (and I still think Thomas from Kung Fu is going to be in it)
