fox has the advantage if you know the matchup like you do, but chus so much better vs fox's with ICs than every fox player minus chillindude is against Ice Climbers. Even tho my fox is just as good as chus ICs hell still beat me over half the time for example, at least in the past that's how it usually went.

Then you counterpick Marth and EVERYTHING'S shot to hell.

I repeat...

How did Wobbles beat Ken's Marth? The match-up is so lopsided. >_< SHARE NAO.

Just watch the M2K vs ChuDat sets from Pound 2. Maybe they can give you a good perspective on how to play Marths.

I think one of my friends recorded the set with her camera so I guess I can look over and see where things went right.

Seriously though? Landing 3 infinites helped.

I thought I saw Chudat 4-stock Azen. I don't know, though, because it was really crowded. He woobled him down to his last stock.
Obviously that technique is why ICs are doing so well in tournaments, but it's not entirely broken. If they don't do it perfectly you can break out of it. I've got my technique down fairly well. Years of practice breaking out of Kirbycides. X^)

I don't think Azen was trying much that last match

edit - i 3 stocked chu at smashtality and won a set 2-0, and beat him 3-1 and FCD and 3-1 at OC3. Ice Climbers can't do anything to Marth if Marth plays defensive.

Ken doesn't play that much anymore.

LOL, I sent M2k a friend invite on Myspace..... >_> <_<

KUDOS for having Mega Man X music on your page. It would have been cooler if you had Armored Armadillo's music though. :p

*on topic*when are the vids going up?!?!

m2k, i'm going to admit, i like seeing you posting in the IC forums, regardless of what its for. i'm going to stick by the fact that i want to meet you and play you and take off 1 stock someday, haha.

i'd personally like to see more IC vids in general and i think mostly against skilled marths. m2k is right, a defensive marth really does **** IC's, my friend doesnt play defensively at all which is partly why i can beat him most of the time.

A lot of people give up once they get woobled to death three times in a row.
I saw Chu lean over and say something to him on his last match, I could only guess it was something like "I'll stop doing that, let's have a clean fight now."

but at the same time, i feel like if you got grabbed while the IC's were synched 3 times, your doing something wrong or the IC player is to good for you anyway

It's not that hard to get grabbed, seriously. You make it seem like getting grabbed by IC is an act of god or something lol. And even if you get grabbed while the ICs are desynched, a simple blizzard can set up for the infinite.

Ummm... no. At like 80% maybe, but at that point why not just headbutt a few times and wait for nana to run over.

really, why is it that this week EVERYONE has started complaining about the IC's grab?

I'm sorry but getting a synched grab is NOT as easy as everyone thinks it is, i'm not saying its impossible but christ, everyone seems to think IC's are broken cause they can grab you. seriously, lets just ban the IC's completely and then everyone can be happy and start complaining about how wavedashing is hax

Well getting grabbed by the ICs isn't as easy as everyone thinks but it's also not as hard as some make it out to be. It's like a happy little medium, not to hard but not too easy, it's just right.

Anyway, I see where you're coming from asakura. It does seem like any topic mentioning the ICs becomes a wobble debate. Honestly I don't understand why because the number of IC players most people encounter is 1 or 2 unless you're in illinois. Also it's not that ICs are crippled without the wobble but whatever.

In my opinion the whole arguement is starting to lose any value at this point. Every time it's just the same thing over and over again and neither side gains ground. Each person decides how they react to it and only they can decide. My philosophy is as follows: When I show up to a tourney all I'll ask is "can I wobble?" If the answer is no then I won't and I'll do other 0%-death combos that are more entertaining. If the answer is yes then... well I get a few free stocks if I need them. It doesn't really matter either way.
