lol ok but they're not that great. I'll give them to you for free cuz my red controller broke and I have no need for them. Plus it's a cruddy paint job compared to what I can do now.

Yooo, when and where do you guys get together for smashfests? I want to stop by for melee or brawl, cause southern 805 doesn't do anything and Im close enough to the border with mid 805. I'd really like to go if you guys are doing something tomorrow too.

We go to Junk's apt randomly to play and gather there to go to tournaments for the most part.

People should play more Wario. Honestly if he wasn't there I probably wouldn't play brawl. He plays very well, happens to be the most fun character to play, and also my personal favorite Nintendo character.
Also Jose and his stupids decided to play melee in one of the rooms I was in, I miss melee

BIO Housing/Rides/Plan
Before I start, I will say this trip/tournament is NOT cheap. It's a big *** tournament that's far away. Imagine the people trying to save up pennies from the EC for Genesis.
Keep in mind food costs (some people can get away with less but to be safe I'm saying $30 for friday night/sat/sun) and entry fee ($25 for doubles/singles per person, add $7 if you do crews) and any MM's you have.
Housing
From what I see NorCal is not stepping it up at all for housing... has one house been offered? If anyone from NorCal reads this please try to be as nice as SoCal has been for you guys.
Anyways since it's the tuesday before the tournament, as far as housing goes for SoCal, our likely option is a hotel room.
2 Queen beds - $79
<1 mile away from the venue
$79 split maximum 5 people per room (to be safe I'll just say $20/night per person)
That's pretty expensive but not nearly as much as the original price ($150). It also leaves someone on the ground unless 3 people want to be in one bed.
Of course we could try to fit more people in the room so the price is lower... but that would be between us. I can't imagine more than 7 people in a hotel room though (that would drive down costs to about $14/night).
Bottom Line: Who from SoCal would be willing to pay $14-$20 a night for 2 nights? If I get enough people to fill a room than we will. Obviously if we find housing then we will stay there.
Rides
I live in Santa Barbara. WarpStatus lives in San Luis Obispo. Both are pretty much CenCal but we both can offer driving. I have space for 4-5 in my car. Warp has space for 4-5 also. My car can have a smash tv along the way if it's only 4.
I imagine for the whole weekend gas is going to be around $50 so that's $10-$13 per person.
The only problem is anyone that wants a seat in the car somehow has to get to where we live or to a train/bus station near by. I will pick you up but I'm not going the opposite direction of BIO when we're already so far away.
So far the seats are as follows:
JunkInTheTrunk's Car (0-1 spaces open) - Bardull, Oki, Samuelson
WarpStatus' Car (1-2 spaces open) - Gishnak, Dantarion
The people that have already asked get first priority (if they still decide to come with us).

I always have to explain to my mom where I'm going, when I'm going, whom I'm going with, when I'll be back, then she makes me do a bunch of chores before I go, or pretty much anything else she wants me to do, just because she knows I'll do 'em, cuz she has leverage over me.
But it's worth it.
