No, I was one of the most well known melee players in toronto and was also part of the top percentage skill wise. I also had one of the longest careeers in the city considering everything.

Alright see, now you got my respect, its just funny to see ppl so intense about brawl when its so .... idk "different" a game like Melee in everyway. Plus how can some1 who is good at Melee like yourself, give all of that up to play Brawl; I quit Brawl because I just thought Brawl wasnt worth it :s But honestly chill, Im not an *******, after all you guys are all like 3-4 yrs older then me and I dont want to be pissing you off if we ever meet :|

Talking from a personal perspective, even if i was in the tournament scene for a one or two years, I still played the game before hand for the other 4 years and it wore down for me. So you can't blame us for wanting something fresh. I'm also stalling till starcraft 2 lol >_>

That's true, but there's ALWAYS room for improvement and making it fun again. (See: Any good U.S. player video). I dunno, that's always given motivation to me. Brawl is fine, but I just can't stand playing it in competitive singles <_<, not my cup of tea. Doubles is awesome though, and FFA, all items on, with four players, is an intensely fun party game.

Yea for some reason I find brawl singles at times kinda boring... even though I still think its reallly funn but by the end of a tournament day... i find myself not wanting to play brawl singles anymore lol... but never get tired of doubles =D

Its different for me..I got bored of wifi brawl after 2 hours but when I went to combo breaker and matts house, I felt like it was always alive and it never got bored for one second.

By the time we left, I thought it was only 7-9 but it was around 10-12 and I was like..wow, time flies.
