hey tournament-knowledgable santa cruzers:

when would be a good time to host a Santa Cruz tourney that plenty of outsiders are willing to come to? (ideally for me, it would be sometime in Mid-may)

I think this would be a good capstone event for everyone at santa cruz to go to as well. (Where we can take our group picture too. [Santa Cruzian potluck before the tourney maybe =]])

I ask this because I am starting a dialogue with Merrill Room Coordinator people. And I want to have some dates in mind when they actually do respond back.

Also, I'm reasonably sure you guys dont know off hand, but I ask primarily because I want you guys to start thinking about it as well. Because you guys would be doing the advertising, not me.

Fanime weekend would probably be undesirable, and also not whatever weekend GSG3 happens to fall on (AFAIK this is yet undecided). Personally I would also prefer not the weekend of May 13-15 because I'm probably going to Novato.

it has to be sat/sun (sat is EXTREMELY preferred)

it would take anywhere from 6-10 hours

I'm leaving santa cruz friday as well and staying the night at alan's. So idk if people want to ride with me.

This is my plan:

Friday

Go to Alan's, then the club in SF, then back to alan's.

Saturday

Go to tourney, come back to SC BEFORE 5:00pm, go do frat stuff.

If you can fit into those plans I'll give you a ride otherwise BACK UP BRO
