Rockin's right that Ronike posted a legit reason for voting Omis, but I think Kevin did too. His argument was that Omis was "Fake-contributing." Much like starting discussion on things we have no way to tell, he's essentially arguing something that doesn't have any solid worth to town, in the meantime looking like he's contributing when it's really distracting town from scumhunting.

I think Omis is being dumb, but I don't think he's being particularly scummy. If he was mafia the benefit he would make by distracting the town for... perhaps a real life day? Anyhow, there's no way that benefit would outweigh the chance of him getting picked up on.
I don't think Omis is the best mafia player in the world, but I think he would avoid doing something to attract this quantity of negative attention to himself so early in the game.

First of all, I never said anything about a **** policy lynch. All I said was that you need to fucking hop off Omis' ****. Second, my main issue is that you immediatly jumped on Omis as soon as he made that post with a vote instead of at least talking about it. This is the same issue I have with Riddle.
KevinM's looked almost as bad as yours, but it seemed he voted just out of frustration/feeling the stupidity of Omis (seems like him to me). After Mentos' comment, I reread it and saw some legitimate reasons. However, it still mainly seems like he was mostly him being fucking frustrated then just proving a statement.
Seems everyone wants to hear what Tom has to say. While I wouldn't mind hearing him and his godly logic, we could talk about other stuff as well. He's a big boy. He'll post whenever possible.
I still would like to hear what Riddles have to say.
@mentosman: i didnt see anything wrong with a smashman wagon and i thought it could have been a primo sourceo du informationeo. i dont think he's ever been the target of HAH SURPRISE BOOM YOURE IN THE HOTSEAT WAGON and i thought he would give a fairly telling reason of either town or scum. but its been a long time since then and literally nobody else jumped on the wagon. i almost want to blame that on mediocre for voting me immediately after i asked everyone to hop on the wagon.
@junglefever: policy-lynching depends on the policy. that might sound obvious but from the looks of it, it really isn't to some of you guys. what are you policy lynching for? if someone refuses to post except right before a prod over and over, you might policy lynch them for never contributing but avoiding replacement. that sounds fair. if someone is constantly saying "fuck" then you might policy lynch them for bad language. that doesnt sound fair. i think that example might hit home for you, you understand?

The only thing I can think of (and it's pretty farfetched, but hey, it's a start) right now is that KevinM kinda looks suspicious for immediately voting for someone who he claims isn't contributing to town, yet Kevin himself doesn't do much either.
My opinion of the rest of the stuff is just that it's all small little pokes at each other but nothing is really happening yet. But that could be just my inexperience.

I also believe that Omis is scummy. Policy lynching is an easy way for scum to get by Day 1 without much discussion or information gained. Omis not only tried to start a policy lynch but on one the games most experienced and potentially helpful players. I find this scummy and I feel that it justifies my vote.

I'm ok with a policy lynch - only in a situation similar to what Tom posted earlier. Policy lynching someone based off of who a person is doesn't make sense.

In my opinion we never gain much from day 1 anyway. In my opinion my former plan was more or less what Kevin has said in previous games about "creating a stonger d2 team". Last time I checked everyone didnt cluster **** him for saying that. Maybe it was a wording issue but Im honestly finding it odd how harshly and strongly people are flipping about this. Also I dont find Marshy helpful so in my mind your second point is moot. Everyone has different picks on who they like.

I made my earlier position without knowing everyone elses; Marshy doesnt help me scum hunt so I dont consider him a good player.
