I think it's a clever and genuinely funny manga that effortlessly switches between character gags, action and has excellent plot continuity, plus I'm so desensitised that the fanservice just whooshes by anyway. Tied #1 in my all-time manga list.

The fanservice itself cuts down drastically, to the point where it doesn't even happen. Right now it's at the peak of an arc, where morals and convictions are thrown around a lot more than any panty-shots. I would argue Akamatsu's art by itself is fanservice though. Also, the power scaling in this manga is almost as bad as Bleach, but it doesn't feel awkward at all, which I think is a pretty big plus.
