Leaving Tap Jump on is always better, but using tap jump isn't necessarily the best option in every situation. There are some situations where a button would be better.
It doesn't really make much of a difference, I use tap jump because it's what I prefer, simple as that. It doesn't make much of a difference in Brawl.

Try playing snake with tap jump on grim.
When u-tilt is ur no.1 killing move, tap jump can really screw u over.

Mason: mid tier / weegee ownage. Can't believe I did so well :O

I use tap jump with marth, but I wouldnt recommend it with snake.
MK takes skill to play, just like every other character in the game, just alot less then everyone else to compete at the same level.
GW matchups is bad against mk if you know how to play against GW.
Mk is marths worst matchup at 35 60 but its probably worse than that. Mk is just a marth with 6 jumps more range and nado.
@Gears: you were lucky to take that set off me. Will enjoy playing your snake more.

SET FORMAT
1. Both players choose their characters (as well as their sub-character and costume) for the first game. A double-blind pick may be requested by either player.
2. Players start the stage-striking procedure in order to select the first stage. The optimal procedure for striking stages is 1-1-2-2-1-1 assuming "1" is player 1 and "2" is player 2.
3. Each player may ban a stage from the counterpick list for the match.
4. The first game is played using the stage chosen by step 2.
5. The loser of the previous game chooses a stage from the starter or counterpick list. No player may choose a stage they have already won on unless the other player agrees.
6. The winner of the previous game chooses their character.
7. The loser of the previous game chooses their character.
8. Steps 5-7 are repeated as necessary.

Snake doesn't have a hard time with any characters >.>
I mean Olimar and D3 are his hardest match-ups, but they're both winnable. (I guess a pocket MK for D3 would work though lol, not sure about Olimar)
Snake has the advantage against Diddy >.>
And you'd probably be better off doing Snake dittos against people.
