Yeah that most likely limits it people who were present immediately after the shot, but there still could've of been someone who saw the shot and Jan'd without putting thoughts on the shot in the thread.

I'm annoyed that Bardull was never actually revealed. Would've helped so much to either a.) have myself cleared or b.) know that 2 mafiosi are already dead. I don't know why Bardull's flip revealed Maven but Joey's flip didn't reveal Bardull's. The jan thing is very confusing because if it's my "ability" then I don't know anything about it. My role PM still says that I am a doublevoter, which is easy enough for me to prove. I don't have any other abilities that I'm aware of.

If lynch somebody toDay and I'm on it / the hammer, will it hide the flip but reveal Bardull's in its place? It makes things hard for me because no matter what I choose to do, it's never guaranteed to help town at all...

I don't think that's what happening. Orbo has had a good explanation for it .... if I'm on the next lynch there's a chance that Bardull's alignment will be revealed in that lynches place.

Kantrip, assume the jan IS optional for the sake of this question. I don't personally buy into Orbo's once a day mechanic, its WAY too convenient for scum that the one flip we would actually get information out of is the one still being withheld, as well as the fact that we get the old flip when a new body is taken.

Look at it from a design standpoint. Once a day jan only allows you to delay information. Only being able to keep one at a time allows scum to actually control it.

The one im talking about didn't necessarily say once per day but there were no day kill mechanics either. It could jan a flip but the flip only remained hidden until rhe next time it janned someone. Once a new jan was chosen the previous one got revealed

Eh, I could see it being either one and don't think it's worth the speculation.

For what it's worth, I dislike Gheb entertaining the possibility that the jan is a hidden aspect of his role.
