I'll admit that my 743 is bad, my thought process on motives and W/E didn't make sense, which is why I never tried to push S-Tier on his gambit after RR claimed, especially after realizing that I read that 731 wrong. When making my 743, I misread that as S-Tier claiming Day cop.

I missed answering this. It was neither of these. They were my scum picks in order of scummy. By "our" lynch pool, I was referring to Zen and Seph.

AM is odd because I haven't played with WL in a loooooong time so I have absolutely no clue yet. Most of the things they have posted aren't the most original nor have they been doing much themselves yet.

I usually tend to look at Swiss' scum-reads more than town-reads. I also don't recall a synergy between both your reads.

Wow. Not gonna lie, that alleviated my J scum read, and brought my scumSpider read back to life.

Oh, I definitely want Spidey dead. I didn't like his initial game, he's brought nothing since, and his defense was shouting "YOU'RE MISINTERPRETING ME I'M SO MISUNDERSTOOD GAWHD" like some angsty teenager. Raziek made a good post but one good post but even the dumbest of scum is capable of making a good point every now and then.

Which also translates into scumJ not evaporating based on one good post. His analysis is fair, but his earlygame was trash and he's good enough to get into trouble at first and then pull off posts like that one and hope people will jump off his back. I'm not that dumb. J's still in the woods and should be for the moment. I still have ten ages to go though.

Going to streamline this since I won't be in for the next ten hours and when I get back home I know you'll be sleeping due to time zone differences. I don't really understand the pressure you were putting on Swiss early on D1. From my point of view, both you and Raziek are players that are capable of playing a fairly legit townie game without needing to pursue such an off-handed gambit early on. How you approached the situation i.e. asking Swiss how he would tackle dabu/gira seems to be a throw up question. And your beginning play into today was weak.

Meta metric aside, I'm not really sure of what your intent was in going with such a push early on. For one, when Soup~ interrupted you, you implied that you were doing something of merit. This is additionally supplemented when Ranmaru "agreed" with what you were doing initially and joined initial pressure on Swiss, in which you also didn't say anything. In fact, the reason you ended up voting Ranmaru was because he omgus'd Swiss. I would have thought that you would have voted him for stating that your push was a "good" move. Especially when dabu questioned your intent and asked you whether your choice was the best course of action, your response indicated something along the lines that it wasn't an important push.

That leaves the question open to how important the initial push was to you and to me for that matter. Furthermore when you did pick up the game again after a brief day or two day hiatus in which we were curious about your intent behind the gambit, the subsequent posts that I remember reading didn't really address what information you got from your initial play.

I do understand that there are several extrinsic factors affecting the core hydra from probably giving his best. But in consideration of these factors, I still believe much explanation is necessary for initial play and what was seriously gained from it as a whole. Debating if this is the lynch I want to pursue. Sigh.

There's a simple answer for what you're looking for:

Scum are stupid and are most obvious during RVS.

This is why I dislike Spidey. The way he entered the game was absolute trash. Scum and town are different in RVS because town has no idea how it'll interact and how the game is together, and neither will scum. In some instances, scum tries too hard to try to blend into town and that's exactly what Spidey did here. Y'know how I know? The immediate 180 once others beyond Swiss called his ****. Instead of continuing on, he turned around and then fell under Swiss' command quickly because he realized what he was doing wasn't working. Once called again on his ****, his only defense was complaining about how he's "misunderstood."

Bull****.

There's difference between this and what S-Tier's saying about JTB by the way. JTB came in far too late to call this and saying things like he's planning interactions is impossible to prove. JTB's stayed right in line with his schtick. He came in as a sheep and has been a sheep all along. Xonar came in, tried to blend in with a formula that worked for him in Math Blasters, ****ed it up, then fell right in line.

Ew, Soup's reaction to votes on him are terrible, one point I do think Spider has completely correct with Soupa is that there is no urge to scum-hunt and it seems to be a common thing this game.
