That is the only way I can see this lynching be any way decent. That way we don't purposefully give up a townie. Plus we still lynch Cello. How is this bad in any way, shape, or form?

Assume that, regardless of whether we lynch Smarg or Ran, that the one we lynch is town and that Cello is town. Your third choice for lynch will never see the chopping block because the scum have already won. Now, if we lynch Smarg AND Ran, then lynch Cello, then we STILL HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE if we're wrong.

You're wrong because unlike Ran, Smarg isn't getting afraid and scummier by the second. Ran started using OMGUS, he's trying to say to lynch him to try 'n get out of it (Which is working), and he's trying to stay hidden all at the same time. How is none of this scummy? Ran > Smarg.

@J/Ryker: Definitely need Smarg/Ran in either order, then Cello; after that we it depends on flips. One of Smarg or Ran flips scum; regardless of which one flips scum Cello could be either one's scum buddy. If Smarg flips scum, I won't push for a J lynch the next day because I've already said J/Smarg =/= scum team. I would say that Smarg/Swords would be most likely at that juncture (although if Smarg is scum I'm expecting Cello to flip scum too). If Ran flips scum then J is my top suspect as his scum buddy, my suspects for Ran are Cello/J and Cello would already be on the guillotine.

@Ran: Umm, Ran, I definitely don't remember that, but it didn't play into the game, in fact that comment you quoted and maybe Nabe's are I think the only things that came from it. As you can see, this has caused pages of discussion. Much much different.

@Joey: Please don't give up on this game, we will figure all this crap out and lynch one scum toDay or toMorrow, then hopefully the next scum on the next Day. I promise if Ran flips scum I will fight to the death that J is his scum buddy. It means that I make mistakes, simple as that. It disproves that Ran would always make sure not to make mistakes, it happens all the time. Even J knows that. (Me skimming and stuff) I am lazy and carefree, so I make statements without thinking at times. Oh well.

It didn't play into the game much because I was scummy the whole game, yet I was the cop. This is different because it's about a role result. Mistakes happen everywhere.

Let's do the math. Suppose we lynch right today and mislynched yesterday and then continue to mislynch.

At the moment under those conditions, we're at 8/2. After a correct lynch today, gboy will flip and we'll be at 7/2. d3 morning it's 6/2. d3 end of day Ran flips scum and it's 6/1. nk brings us to 5/1 d4 dawn, mislynch d3 to 4/1. nk again takes us to d5 dawn 3/1, mislynch d4 is 2/1 is game dawn of d5. It's the same as if you lynch incorrectly today.
