i'm asian
people in america are way more prejudice against us than blacks or mexicans
in fact i've been treated unfairly by both of those races along with the usual white supremacists.

Edit: what's with the prejudice we have towards the white race? We use them towards the beginning but when we're talking about getting stuff done we throw them away. We prefer blacks over 80% of the time!.

I disagree. Tell me how exactly Asians are more discriminated against, because while I can think of racial profiling for both African-Americans and Latino Americans (crime and illegal residence respectively) I can't think of anything for Asian Americans.
Also, I wonder why African-American is a hyphenate but Latino American isn't. *shrug*
Totally second this btw lol, and there are a LOT of Asians at my school. Maybe not all of them are racist, but a fair amount, and more explicitly than other people. Not even racist in a bad way all the times either

These colorful headbands are simple to make and great for the beginning knitter! For the experienced knitter, one can easily be made, start to finish, in less than an hour-and-a-half. I knitted these for a our pastor's mother. She asked me if I knew how to knit one day after church. I said, of course! She pulled a headband out of her purse and told me she wanted several to give to her family. Since I have so much yarn around the house, I didn't have any trouble coming up with a variety of colors. The purple and white ones are children's size, and the others are made according to the size of the one Mrs. Van Den Bos brought to me.
I had no problem duplicating the pattern - it is very simple. The entire band is knit using a garter stitch. Using size eight needles and worsted weight yarn, cast on twelve. Then knit 18 rows. to shape the ears, increase one stitch at the beginning of each row until there are 25 stitches on the needle. Knit 2 rows even. Then begin decreasing. Knit two together at the beginning of each row until there are again 12 stitches. Knit the front of the band by knitting 50 rows. Repeat the increasing and decreasing to make the other ear. Finish the back of the band by knitting 16 rows. Now cast off and sew the ends together.

Echo, i disagree about blue jays and mockingbirds, they are different species of birds whereas whites, blacks, and asians are the same species. The same species with different characteristics. Birds are a type of animal, with many different species. Humans are a species, each with different characteristics. Not every blue jay is the same, nor are every human the same. Blacks are in no way shape or form a different species than whites or asians or any other human.

bottom line, discrimination is wrong and people are stupid. There is no real reason for it, there is nothing different between a white person and a black person other than how they act, and that's a whole different discussion. Same with the gays. The part that's stupid is when people discriminate against someone who acts the same way as everyone else, but because they are black, white, mexican, gay, or whatever, they are discriminated against, and that imo is wrong.
