Roy Sprite

I am sure that all of you know of the Brawl character sprites that were made(I do not know who made them, can someone tell me?). Well using my amateur spriteing skills I edited the Marth sprite into Roy. This is most likely the final one.

It is not perfect(I would have liked to not make it a copy of Marth but my skills do not allow that for now, maybe sometime down the road.) and I would not be surprised if this has been done before. I thought it came out well so I decided to post it.

the blue of your roy cape is too shiny and strong and the dark-bright colours of the trousers are too different

Thanks for telling me who made the originals.
I agree as well on your points and I'm going to start to fix it up now.

NightBlade7 I made it a png file and updated my post. I apologize, I don't know much on the different file types so I just picked one. And when you give credit give some to abysswolf for the original Marth sprite.

just give credit if u use them.Some are pretty bad cause im like kinda new to recolors

I actually like the Roy sprite more for some reason...
It's probably due to the muted color palette.

It looks really nice. You changed his sword to be his sword, you added a good-looking fire effect to his sword to make it more like Roy, you...really added every feature I can think of of Roy's at the moment, and you did it well. My only complaint would be that the blue is a little...I don't know, it seems like it might be a bit too bright. Not a huge deal, just might look better a little more dulled-down. Don't worry about it though. I think that might be the color Roy's cape is (again, can't remember off-hand), and if so it's a fault of the creators'.

Thanks for all the comments. I've put a fixed up one and it is as close to finished as it will get, nothing left but touch ups I may do when ever I see something I don't like.

Again, thanks for commenting on it. Maybe I'll make Dr. Mario sometime.

that's so cool. the fire effect you added is really nice!

the only flaw that i see is the hair. it resembles roy's hair a bit, but more could be done. you also need to have more contrast between the colors you're using for his hair. It looks really flat right now in comparison to Marth's.
i'm really picky lol

i guess if you wanted to take it a little further, you could change his skin tone a bit. it's slightly different than marth's, I think... but it's not a big deal

Any criticism is fine, I don't mind it at all. I agree, the hair could use some more work but for now I want to move on to something else. Like I said Dr. Mario is probably next, after that I think i will make a lot of the Fire Emblem 6 cast from the ground up including Roy.

I'm picky as well but if I focused too much on the small things on this one then I would not be able to make what I really want to.

The hair was the first thing I did btw.
