This. Being unpredictable for the sake of being unpredictable... not really unpredictable. My sister called it. I was just too blind to listen to rational thought. She TOLD me that Sakurai knows that people are expecting a reveal, hence he will not give it to us. He likes to do things his way. I was honestly pretty disappointed last night (because it cost me sleep). Today is a new day. I now no longer care about any reveal in the game. Not to mention, Sakurai isn't above trolling his fans if they expect something. I am not betting for Ridley anymore. At least he will be a nice surprise if he is in the game. I am not going to get my hopes up again.

Do we all remember what happened when we got our hopes up for Brawl? Yeah. Let's not do that again.

I can't believe no one wants on the hype train anymore.

C'mon guys!!! This was gonna happen eventually. Besides, we still probably are like 300 updates away before either of these 2 games come out anyways, lol. It's not like it can't happen in the future.

Oh, and btw, the next hype train shall be "WHICH NEWCOMER IS REVEALED NEXT!?"

The problem with the hype train was that everyone that got on the train expected to arrive to their designated destination by 3 am. Maybe have a fun after party and celebrate. Some people perhaps expected a few delays. However, Sakurai, knowing that everyone wanted to arrive when they wanted to arrive decided to cancel the train. Sakurai likes being unpredictable to be unpredictable. Now people decided that it is way smarter to use logic (a plane).

That is just putting into perspective. However, if we do get a reveal Saturday or Monday... or not even this week, I will be fine. I am not really expecting anything. I already caught my flight. I am ready for an after party whenever it happens. Now that I no longer take trains, I can be there on a dime.

The train clearly didn't arrive on Thursday or Friday, but it still will likely arrive very soon. There is still hope.

I wouldn't read that much into the banner. It went down after Olimar and Luigi and stayed down for a while. I'm not saying we definitely won't be getting a reveal any time soon, we still could, but I wouldn't use the banner as proof of anything.

I still think we will get a Pokemon reveal. He still has 4 more to go. Just because Sakurai is unpredictable to be unpredictable doesn't necessarily mean that we will get a different character. I wouldn't really put it past him though. He tries SO hard to be unique.

EXXXXXXACCCTTTLYYYY.

I mean, most people were like "okay, we'll be getting popular characters only" after Mega Man and the Villager were confirmed. But after the Wii Fit Trainer, most people were like "WE'RE ONLY GETTING RANDUMB CHARUCERZSSS!!!"

Just because Sakurai plays a few Jokers doesn't mean he's not gonna play some Kings, Queens, or Jacks smash buddies.

It's kinda too late to fool the majority of people, especially since you can clearly see Mario in those pics (and Balloon is spelled wrong).

It would've worked earlier though, because people are insatiable.

I can imagine Jigglypuff's reveal image to be her sneaking into the picture by the side and blocking everyone behind her, kinda like in the Melee intro.
