I wish we could get both Palutena and Medusa as Kid Icarus newcomers in SSB4... I would rather have them over Magnus and Dark Pit.

The thing is though he only has until Monday's update, before all Pokemon fans just give up on there being an update in connection Pokemon X/Y.

So Sakurai better enjoy this while it lasts.

Woah, this has got to be the grandest scale of disappointment in SSB history.

Lucky I leveled my hype down a few notches last night when I came to realise that today ISN'T Pokemon X/Y reveal.
Still a bit disappointed, but today's pic at least kinda made me laugh.

We'll have to see if it's monday.. But what if we've truly been spoiled and we shouldn't expect anything then as well?

Sakurai just straight derailed the hype train. So I have no hopes for an upcoming character reveal, Pokemon or not, anytime soon. Thus I will not have the same disappointment I have suffered today.

The Pokemon reveal is being saved for the release of Pokemon Bank, obviously.

Coincidentally, it is during Christmas Day.

The Christmas or day after Christmas update could easily be a Zelda character, because A Link Between Worlds launches in Japan the day after Christmas.

That was not the Trainer we meant Sakurai! D:

Ah well, this goes to show, you just can't predict Sakurai.

He was just wait, JUST WAITING to burst our bubble. Clearly he put up the second Trainer to mess with us, lol!!!

Now he's gonna to try to hype us up through another means with the Pokémon character reveal.

That's part of the fun of the updates... the unpredictable nature of the predictable nature of these updates.
