The tripping system isn't bad, it's just the random tripping kills it. I mean, the worst thing about tripping is that it seems right after you get naner'd you have a tendency to trip a lot more than usual.
Again, Project M did that one right.
I think since Snaking isn't going to return in all likelihood, this won't be too big of a problem. I also think Grenades won't be in any way a kill move of any sort.

SEE! This trailer right there got me so hype for Roy again! Just hearing the dude and seeing him play after not appearing in Brawl is such a great feeling. So you're telling me some people wouldn't appreciate him being back? I personally just got even more hopeful for his return.But Roy already got a trailer.

I am thinking that Pokemon might be a special circumstance. I am not betting against Friday, I just think that all hope isn't lost until Monday. Pokemon hardly needs the cross promotion. That is just my opinion I suppose.

Yeah, they aren't really showing off Sonic. They are pretty meh. I am just hoping that Pokemon Trainer isn't finished, or they replaced him with Charizard. That way I get my precious Jigglypuff!Well of course if we don't get it this week, it'll be next Monday. But its almost basically guaranteed that it is coming soon.
Although the really "meh" pics this week so far lead me to believe its this week hahsa Maybe even tomorrow with a pic update Friday!
Just because it'd be a curveball, something I don't disagree with you on, doesn't mean there's any chance of it happening. Sakurai is unpredictable, but he's not counter-productive, which revealing any character other than a Pokemon would be on the exact day a Pokemon reveal would be most warranted. Revealing another character would take away from X/Y (even if not to a great extent) while a Pokemon would add to X/Y's exposure. Sure it'd be a curveball, but that's a pretty detrimental option when he has the chance to benefit Pokemon. Plus, do you think it's Sakurai's idea to reveal all these characters for promotional purposes? Obviously he's given it the ok, but it's clearly Nintendo's doing, and they're going to want to promote X/Y instead of revealing a random character. That much is pretty obvious.
Yeah, plus that video showed off a few new moves, despite the fact Roy has potential to clearly be even more unique than he already is in Project M.
The reveals of characters have all been on a Tuesday or a Thursday I think.

They would use Charizard. Some people already think that Charizard will replace Pokemon Trainer. Myself included. If I find out that Lucas, Wolf, and Jigglypuff got cut for Pokemon Trainer... I am done with the game. That is all I have to say. I don't think there will be any cuts though. I am just telling it like it is.
He also tends to follow a few different patterns. While eventually he may break this pattern of promotional reveals, even before that he had reveal patterns pre-Melee and pre-Brawl.
YES! Because I only want to play as Ivysaur honestly, and would expect Squirtle and Charizard to come around at some point too.
Well he did it with Sheik and ZSS, so it's not impossible. But it's not going to happen, and even if it did he'd probably start with Charizard.

Speaking of reveals for SSB4 another one i'm hoping for is for either ike or marth or both for that matter since they've been my favorite brawl characters to main.

That's what I'm saying. If some Melee fans can make him stand out more from Marth, Sakurai can. I mean they even changed Marth's B a bit in Brawl meaning Roy can still have his epic charge up move and not be copying Marth. Roy's moveset potential is quite good; the fire really does add a lot more depth, regardless of those who complain it doesn't. It does, as Sakurai clearly thought so in Melee, hence his addition instead of some other FE lord to copy Marth.
Did you just suggest that Nintendo is the one pulling the strings? Not Sakurai. You are correct, but you might want to put up a Flame Shield. Most people around here view Sakurai as a god that can and will do anything he wants in Smash.
I wish it was Skyward Sword Link. That is half the reason that I am not even going to bother attempting to main him again. I am just going straight for Toon Link this time. I am mostly salty because Zelda might still be TP Zelda. That would devastate me.
I agree. With that, I can only see Pokemon Trainer or Mewtwo as the best rep for Pokemon. They are the main parts of this release: the main character and the most hyped-for Pokemon.
I did. However I don't really need a flame shield when I have a good amount of people on here who aren't idiots and will help ward of the angry Sakurai is a god believers.
I'd be glad my favorite Pokemon Trainer Poke is revealed first. Then I'll wonder where in the name of hell is the rest.
Jigglypuff is so bouncy she jumps up and down from tier to tier like Sonic in that one segment of Spring Yard.
I'd be okay with it. Helps further differentiate the Triforce Trio from the more cartoony versions of themselves by having a slightly more realistic or gritty tone to them. All in brighter primary colors of course.
