Tell me anything and I mean ANYTHING that adds that isn't just a ****ing VISUAL EFFECT and seriously... Fire. Like I haven't seen ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THAT CONCEPT EVER BEFORE! Seriously the most interesting thing I could think of that he could make use of with that is taken by Ike >.> oh wait fire... PROJECTILES? My god THIS IS CLEARLY SOMETHING NO OTHER CHARACTER COULD OFFER!

As much as DK & Fire Emblem deserve 4 reps. Them getting it is pretty farfetched and unnecessary.

I don't care how much I love Sonic more than any Nintendo franchise. The idea of Sonic possibly having more reps than an actual Nintendo franchise in a Nintendo game on a Nintendo console, makes me cringe. Hard.

Who are you to say Chrom can't have projectiles? He can have whatever Sakurai wants him to! Sakurai has been an unoriginal with movesets in the past, like with Ganon and Falcon, or pretty much half of Melee, don't think he won't do it again.
Roy has a CUT veteran status, which doesn't help. And Chrom CAN become a Marth semi-clone, while Roy already IS. I guess characters can't ever change movesets, huh? guess what - Pit and Bowser. :troll: Roy has MORE potential to change than Chrom.

Roy has MUCH MORE SO MUCH MORE going for him than Chrom - moveset potential, diversity and uniqueness, PRIORITY, veteran status, an upcoming remake, etc. etc. etc..... So tell me who is more biased against who? Hmm?

He has way more character and overall likeability. And 2 guys with Explosions is better than 2 guys without explosions :troll:

Also you can make moves out of fire easier than moves out of sword without fire.

Also maybe it's just me, but because of all the comments in the past claiming Chrom is a very drab edition, something tells me we won't get a situation like Ike where the newcomer is revealed over the veteran. Instead it's going to be more similar to something like Toon Link, where the reveal is going to be very late in order to avoid disappointment. This is presuming Chrom has enough merit to get in to begin with, because so far it's not looking too bright. The guy only has the sales of Fire Emblem: Awakening and recency going for him, and it's pretty clear that won't be enough.

Well, I'm not gonna look at your roster, I'll let people rip at that.

Apology accepted, but you need to know that all of this, this entire website is subjective. It is all opinion, nothing will ever be 100% true unless it is confirmed. Speaking out to advocate the truth is something I admire in someone, but not on here. Nothing will ever be fully true until Sakurai confirms it.

Most of us have opinions on here, what we think of what will happen in the game. People just feel like you're just acting like you know everything.

But apology accepted.

By that logic, Chrom should be instead of Roy because FE: Awakening is more recent than FE: Binding Blade.

I like Roy, but people tend to overrate him.
And if I were to choose Chrom over Roy, I'd probably want Roy back, but Chrom is a likely choice at this point.

What makes Chrom likely? Oh yeah MUH RECENCY. Roy's pretty recent too, you know. Roy is more important to Fire Emblem than Chrom, whether the past or present. Roy's been in at least 3 games, INCLUDING CHROMS!!! So yeah, Roy would have more merit as a potential return than Chomp would as a newcomer.

I also have everybody agreeing with me on this issue, including Habanero, Super Brawler, and others. The only one who is not... is you.

Okay, recency doesn't help.
I guess Shiek's coming back then. And Pichu, cuz you know, Gen 2 WAS recent in Melee, but since recency doesn't matter, let's put him back in.

Well, technically, OoT 3D and SS were generally released around the same time...

You're using recency as the final decision. And not only that, but Zelda and Sheik is actually smart. The Zelda in this game represents all Zeldas in the franchise. She has her magical attacks, her powers from the goddesses (Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, and Farore's Wind), and Sheik. All important aspects to Zelda.

And besides, Zelda's special moveset was based on the Goddess Powers from OoT. I guess we didn't see that in Brawl since she didn't use that in TP... oh wait.

Impa is an important character, but too important to be a part of Zelda's moveset. It would be an insult to both of them, being that Impa and Zelda are not the same.
