Black Shadow would be a good replacement for Ganondorf, though that's the only reason I support Black Shadow personally.

I actually prefer TP Ganondorf's design, but in general I've liked all versions of Ganondorf. They are all great in their own regards, and I'd personally rather have the TP Ganondorf design back in Smash, but I care much more about him getting revamped. Theres so much potential Ganondorf has that has yet to be applied to him.

He could be fun, duel swords and such. I'm not exactly certain what other things Toon Ganondorf could do that other versions could also do though.

...If I had my way, I'd have four Ganon characters:

-OOT/SSBM "Captain Ganon" with luigified moves using dark magic, like choosing to ether release the charged power from Warlock Punch as an electric projectile (Dead Man's Volley), or to let the powerful punch charge fully.

-TP/SSBB Ganondorf with Flame Choke and Beast Ganon Final Smash, and with a unique TP-based moveset involving both dark magic and his sword of the sages.

-Wind Waker Toon Ganondorf using his two swords and having a faster combo based moveset, and having the parry attack from WW as one of his special moves.

-Classic Pig Ganon with attacks involving his trident and fire bats.

I mean, getting two characters just days in between each other is really unlikely, but who knows? They may throw a curveball at us.

Regardless, I'm excited to see the new games that are gonna be released soon. Tropical Freeze might get some love, so maybe we'll see that fourth character.

Anyways, we did discuss it somewhat, but due to it's mainly about Wii U and 3DS games that release before the end of the year, I don't see us getting anything out of it for Smash Bros. However, it is indeed possible it could happen, since I believe Luigi was revealed in a Nintendo Direct that was mainly around the same as this upcoming one.

I'd love to see ANYTHING new from any upcoming Nintendo game during the Direct. Maybe some Yarn Yoshi? We haven't seen anything from Yarn Yoshi in a while. Also, I'd love to see some more Kongs in Tropical Freeze. I'm hoping Funky makes a comeback. (well not a playable Funky. I'm well aware adventuring isn't his thing)

If they are actually going to do anything Smash related. I would actually like to see them showcase Olimar, Luigi, Peach and Toon Link and show them in action in the new games. Maybe even demonstrate what has changed and stayed the same during their transition from Brawl that they probably couldn't properly show in screenshots. Oh they should also show the new stages in action too.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing some more new reveals either.

Yeah, I really don't see another new Smasher announced tomorrow, especially considering the recent announcement of Toon Link.
But hey, you never know. I am also very interested to see who the 4th DKC:TF character is. Hopefully K. Rool, likely Funky Kong (which I would be perfectly fine with. Watch, in a matter of days, Funky will be on everyone's roster).

Sega. As many others have said, they're all buddy-buddy with Nintendo. Potential-wise I'm not certain who could get in, but popularity-wise......yeah I have no clue there either. Too many Sonic choices.

Sonic. He is probably the most requested 3rd party character. Everyone (Sonic fans) WANTS a new Sonic rep. So I am sure it would be the first to get a second rep. Mega Man hasn't even been touched by the players yet, so I doubt he would get a second. If I had to pick which Sonic character, it would have to be Tails.

Yoshi is a dragon, that's why the coins with his face on them from Super Mario World are called Dragon Coins.
