I never really cared that he was a worse version of Marth, I usually main a character if I like them not by how good they are.

This is why I always theorize that the deceptive popularity of Chrom isn't genuine, it's merely an illusion because of the game he originated from. Don't be surprised if he was quickly forgotten if he fails to get in Super Smash Bros.

I am the same way. I actually liked Roy more because he was harder to unlock. After that, it was sword vs fire sword. I also really liked Roy's charged neutral special, I never got to land it, but it was awesome. Finally, I picked the one that didn't look like a female. The choice was easy.

That still makes no sense...why would you want to play as a crappy version of an already existing character? I mained Mewtwo as bad as people claim he is, but it's not like he's ripping off another character's moveset.

I agree with this, I think if Chrom or Lucina fail to be playable in Smash 4 by the time a new lord comes they will be old news.

Because when you have a regular sword and a sword that catches on fire, the sword that catches on fire wins.

When I was really getting into the game, I didn't know a tier list existed. I actually thought Roy was the more powerful one. I always got better results with him. I can actually relate though. Pichu. I used Pichu quite frequently; however, I wouldn't touch Pikachu. There were two things going on. One was character loyalty. Pikachu is an obese sell-out, Pichu is a cute baby. So I liked Pichu more as a character. The second reason was my Sister. She mained Pikachu, so I didn't really touch him out of respect for her.

Speaking only for myself here, Roy looked a lot cooler to me. He kinda had a action hero look going for him, Marth's design I didn't care for as much. So I used him more than Marth since I never cared about tier lists and stuff. And on top of that, Roy had a fire blade. Still I ended up liking Ike more than the other two combined.

I'm not sure, I just liked Roy better despite his faults as a character. He was a clone still and there is no getting around that, but keep in mind that he had no game to get moves from anyways. If he does come back I expect him to be his own character.

I'd be fine with any Wario character really.
Mona, Jimmy T, 9-Volt, Ashley...
But Captain Syrup can represent the Wario LAND series, so that's why I would prefer her.

You could try to put some more thought into new series representation.

I just want Hardin. He represents partners & villains (from Marth's games no less) and he uses a lance. I think Sakurai will most likely just represent the series with the main lords of different games though.

Did I just step back into youtube? Because judging by everything in Red (Which are bad ideas), it certainly looks like it. All I need is a Ridley is too big comment and it'll be perfect...ly horrible.
