let's also add Batman. he is the most popular comic book character of all timeThey would add him because he is the most popular anime hero of all time.

And Namco doesn't own rights to DBZ. there's a difference between developing rights and actual ownership. they don't own DBZ.But Namco doesn't own the rights of Batman.
They would add him because he is the most popular anime hero of all time.
Correction; I can confirm that Namco Bandai DID develop at least the Tenkaichi games. I'm looking at the back of my copy of Tenkaichi 3 and it states "Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc."actually now that im looking at it they dont even have Developing rights. just publishing. Spike Developed the Tenkaichi and Raging Blast games and Game Republic handled a bunch of the other misc ones. regardless it doesn't matter. Goku didnt originate from a video game so he's ineligable
So why did you put him on your prediction roster. If we are talking dragon ball games. Dimps developed the budokai games (known simply as Dragon Ball Z 1, 2, and 3 in Japan), as well as Advanced Adventure, Burst Limit, and Infinate world. Spike developed the Budokai tenkaichi series (Known in Japan as Sparking) as well as the PE360 games after Burst Limit. Game Rebublic developed the DS titles except attack of the saiyans which was developed by Monolith Soft.
Getting back on topic, goku's not getting in.
Goku was never on my roster? So why did you put him on your prediction roster.
Also nitpicking your roster, I think the possibility stands for maybe a couple version exclusives, but five each is really pushing it unless they decide to go a whole different direction with the 3ds version.
So to take this off of the animu topic.....any opinions on this?So i made MINOR changes to my roster.....still prefer the original.
I would get rid of:So to take this off of the animu topic.....any opinions on this?
Think of Super Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U Version as Smash Red Version and Smash Blue Version. The only way I see version exclusives of characters, is if those exclusive characters can be transferred between both copies.
So basically, by the end, they don't turn out to be exclusives at all.
Toon Zelda seems weird to me, but then again she was planned for Brawl(WTH Sakurai). I don't really like remaking Diddy into a duo character, and I doubt such a drastic change to an existing character will happen. Lucina, while popular among FE fans, doesn't have much Smash support and is almost certainly a clone. I can only see her appearing to fluff up the roster ala Melee's clones, but I think it's too late in the series for that either. The rest seems like it has a decent chance even if I don't necessarily want it.So to take this off of the animu topic.....any opinions on this?
So to unlock characters, I have to capture them in pokeballs? Then I can trade to the other version?Think of Super Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U Version as Smash Red Version and Smash Blue Version.
Then you fight gym badges and earn elite four members in order to enter the Pokemon league. So to unlock characters, I have to capture them in pokeballs? Then I can trade to the other version?
No don't think of it that way. Pokemon red and blue and every single pokemon duo game in existence are games that are released on the same console. Smash is so much different because it is released on two completely different consoles. This changes things graphically and physically. So no don't think of it as smash red and blue.Think of Super Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U Version as Smash Red Version and Smash Blue Version.

That would result the 3DS Version to be $60.No don't think of it that way. Pokemon red and blue and every single pokemon duo game in existence are games that are released on the same console. That being said, I still think version exclusives are a possibility even if they cannot be transferred. Like I said it will likely be only one or two and they will likely appeal to the specific console. A better way to think of it is like soul calibur 3. There is one different character in each version and at least in links case it represents the console. Honestly I wouldn't mind if there was one or two version exclusives for both games and they were later released as dlc for the other system. I know people would flip the freak out but it will likely be only 5-10 dollars which isn't much money at all and I would like to see at least a little variety within the two games.
I also think a possibility that they could do is similar to what playstation allstars did in that if you buy the console version, you get the handheld version free. Even though I didn't have a vita I freaking loved the fact that playstation did this, and I think smash should follow suit.
FixedThat would result the 3DS Version to be FREE
That wouldn't make any sense, marketing wise.Fixed
it was joke. Since they mentioned giving the 3DS version for free with the Wii U version. That wouldn't make any sense, marketing wise.
Both. It's the same game in the end.Kid 1: "Why am I buying the Wii U Version?"
Dad: "HD Graphics"
Kid 2: "Why am I buying the 3DS Version?"
Dad 2: "Cheaper than the Wii U Version?"
Which family had the right decision?
He did.If only Goku started off as a video game character.
