That's actually true. lolNobody in the West would even care for Roy if he wasn't in Melee.

i would add the wii fit trainer if they had the picture XDcame somebody judge my roster
?The fact that Arena Ferox has already been revealed pretty much guarantees an Awakening character. Why a stage without its corresponding character?
Well, let me put it this way, why a stage from a game from a franchise that is already repped with characters in Smash?
Hmmm... gotta disagree with Toad, Tingle, Meowth, Unova Trainer and for the love of god, Geno.came somebody judge my roster
I suppose for the same reasons we got Mario Circuit, Mario Bros., and 75m. Not because they necessarily apply to recent games of a series or correlate to one character in specific, but because they simply work as stages people would recognize. Arena Ferox was the setting of multiple Fire Emblem trailers, an early game major battle, and a puzzle in the Mii Plaza Puzzle Swap... Why wouldn't people familiar with Fire Emblem recognize it?Well, let me put it this way, why a stage from a game from a franchise that is already repped with characters in Smash?
Well, of all the potential FE stages that Sakurai could have chose, why one from Awakening? What makes you think that a character repping the most successful game from its respective franchise (which SAVED the entire series, mind you) could not happen?I suppose for the same reasons we got Mario Circuit, Mario Bros., and 75m. Not because they necessarily apply to recent games of a series or correlate to one character in specific, but because they simply work as stages people would recognize. I swear its always about FE even when its not people make it about FE quicklyThis thread moved quite a bit...
We're talking Fire Emblem again?
KILL IT WITH FIRE!
Go read discussions about Roy and Marth in the character discussion of Melee and the tier list. Marth can do everything Roy does way way better. Even Roy users say this. How is that? All his moves are more powerful, and he's almost the same speed. You're thinking of Pichu.
if i remember correctly, some people here have already talked about how Shulk has a lot of demand in Japan.Isaac has more demand in the west, but quite less in Japan, and he stars in 3 games (playable in 2) so I think he's more deserving to be playable than Shulk.
As for who's more likely, I'm not sure because I don't know about Shulk's demand in Japan.
ok you commenced me a palutena I crossed out that changePalutena is more unique, requested, recurring, and important to Kid Icarus than Magnus. She is the Zelda of the game. Magnus is no better than another Ike with a bigger sword, and we have enough swordsmen. He also didn't play a huge role in Kid Icarus. He's more of an Assist Trophy.
Sakurai already stated Namco characters are not getting any special treatment. And if Snake is not present I think Bomberman would take his place.
Why Takamaru is possible: She is one of the most classic Famicom games in Japan and Western gamers recognize him. Why is he not possible?
This is how Palutena is possible:
Palutena has mentioned several times that she is NOT all knowing and NOT all powerful. So how does she not work?
Shulk? How does he not work? Please explain.
Ike is not going anywhere, he is the most popular lord of all (not counting Marth.)
As for Mewtwo, it has not been confirmed how Mewtwo becomes his awakened form. It's like assuming Mew can change into Mewtwo on command. Not to mention Mewtwo's new form probably isn't going to be unique enough from his normal form to warrant him his own interchangeable character.
I love your grammar. *laughs*ok you commenced me a palutena I crossed out that change
and as for mewtwo yes nothings know about the form but its just my theory why his final smash is not going to be his new form
and for reason why I don't see shulk never heard of him never heard of his series
"Neomew" is only a nickname. Just like "Newtwo" or "Skymin".Somebody please tell noah that the new pokemon movie is out in japan, and that whenever he transforms he is not called "neomew" He's still the same pokemon. Did it really take the movie to prove this? Like when any other pokemon changes form does it become a different pokemon? No not shaymin, deoxys, giritina, ect.
And I lol every time he says that bomberman is a likely addition. I suppose Sora would be too, if Noah was a fan of his.
Anyhow between Isaac and Shulk, idk I never include either on my roster but odds are we'll get one. And personally I feel Isaac is more likely.
The difference is that nobody is saying Neomew besides Noah for the reason that it's incredibly dumb."Neomew" is only a nickname. Just like "Newtwo" or "Skymin".
I'd like both Isaac and Shulk, but I don't know who's more likely. Both are pretty popular requests.
At least Buutwo makes sense in that he resembles that character. Newtwo doesn't look like he's from the Matrix nor does he have any neon lighting, however... So where the hell does Neo come from?I don't really mind Noah saying NeoMew or whatever, it's as bad as me saying Buutwo.
Well, the Super smash bros website finally updated...
... But it was rather shallow, only having confirmation of Olimar and his Pikmin.
Hopefully something rather exiting will come next update.
Buutwo... my god... hehaaahahaa.I don't really mind Noah saying NeoMew or whatever, it's as bad as me saying Buutwo.
Because when new games happen, and Sakurai looks for new series to implement, he generally goes for the biggest ones not yet included, which is Wii Fit > AC > Punch-Out > GS. (not counting Nintendogs, Brain Age, and that kinda stuff - though Mii could still happen).I don't quite understand why people are so confident with Golden Sun getting a lot more exposure this time around.

If you want I can go get some proof, but which series other than one without a feasible character or the three I listed before GS (or Mii) do you think is bigger than GS?[citation needed]
Yes, go out of your way to prove a statement that cannot be proven. If you want I can go get some proof.
So... you don't have a series you can think of that's bigger than the ones I mentioned? Because you can try to draw focus away from the actual point of my sentence all you want... but it's not going to change the validity of it.Yes, go out of your way to prove a statement that cannot be proven.
No, there's no list of Nintendo series ranked by how "big" they are, but it's pretty clear to see that Sakurai does choose the biggest ones. I mean, for Brawl, which series with feasible characters (at that time) that didn't get included were bigger than the series included up until that point? None...That's not the point, the point I'm getting across is that there isn't any proof out there that states anything is higher or lower on the pedestal and trying to read the minds of the developers and designers is a fruitless endeavor.
wait can't you just go buy how many copies they sell but I say we make one for fun i'll startthere's no list of Nintendo series ranked by how "big" they are.
