Hmmm. This has probably been discussed before, but has anyone considered the possibility of a Smash Bros. character? I kinda thought it'd be interesting, though the only potential characters are Sandbag, Primid, and a mini Master hand or something. Sandbag would be nigh impossible to make a moveset for, but I could see Primid and the mini Master Hand working.

When you asked if anyone ever considered the possibility of a Smash bros character, I was literally dying and thought you were trolling and mean characters overall.
Then I read on.

I make mine by hand, nothing quite like the good ole' fashion way. Better than using some generic roster maker I think.

I've had a few acquaintances before but none of them liked Smash Bros. Or video games much for that matter. I don't really live in an area where gaming is a thing, luckily that means I can usually walk into a store and buy a game on day one without needing to pre-order. I probably won't take my chances with SSB4 though.

Pac-Man and Sora are my brother's only real wants for this game. I've told him that the latter is never happening, but he doesn't seem to believe me.

A couple of twins that I babysit want Waluigi. They also have at least a bit of an interest in Pac-Man, but have never said that they want him in Smash Bros..

Other than that, I don't really have anyone to ask.

People are still expecting Bandanna Dee? Last time I checked, Sakurai didn't want to overrep his franchise. As much as I love Kirby, I just don't see how deserving he is. I wouldn't be surprised if he were to be added like Rosie when I doubted her at first.

Apparently the fact that Sakurai added two of his characters in the third Smash game because of their huge popularity and importance means that he's biased and definitely going add another Kirby character despite the series already being well-represented and Dee being nowhere close to the others in terms of importance.

The one-time absence of a character doesn't automatically put the other in a largely better position, what matters more is the role that character itself plays. If Bandana Dee still has a small role, it won't really matter.

It's not like the notable absence of usual Zelda regulars for the majority or entirety of MM affected their presence in Melee, or directly affected the likelihood of the characters that did appear in MM.

Alrighty....
My sister wants: Robin, Isaac and Toad. She's part of the reason I campaign for the shroom to begin with(although it helps I really like him myself). Dislikes Bowser Jr.
My two best friends want: Knuckles, King K. Rool, Dixie Kong, Dr. Mario and a Unova Pokemon Trainer. Dislikes Palutena and Ridley.
My internet friends want: Palutena, Chrom, Ridley, Paper Mario and Travis Touchdown. Dislikes King K. Rool and Little Mac.

A mixed bag with everyone seemingly liking some popular choices here and disliking some others and a few choices that would make Smashboards physically sick.

They'd probably fit in better here than me anyway. I'm not a fan of any of the Smashboards top choices.

Apart from Mewtwo anyway.

But does anyone hate Mewtwo?

It seems like a very.....boring roster.
Not that many interesting additions.
The most interesting newcomer is probably Lucina
And Id also recommend replacing either Takamaru or Lip with a more obscure retro characters, so there would be one normal retro, and one obscure retro.

With the exception of the Fire Emblem 3rd character(which is always a damn minefield) and some people's dislike of Krystal I can't see the majority of Smashboards being disappointed if this was the final roster. I guess there's no Shulk or Isaac, but that's not bad going overall.
