I can actually do both of those things and I'll be 100% confident in it.
God damn it, he cut "Gandolf" this time.
I stand by what I said. K. Rool is the primary antagonist of the series, Dixie is a playable character in half the DKC games, and the central protagonist in one, DK is a bigger series overall than Kirby, it's recent games have been more high profile, K. Rool and Dixie both have more popularity, Dixie was planned previously, Sakurai is extremely modest about his own series, Bandana Dee is no where near Dedede or MK, he doesn't have a great deal of popularity or overall impact within the series as a whole, and unlike DK, Kirby already has all its main characters.
People expecting Bandana Dee are likely in for disappointment.

The only thing I feel like that really needs addressing is Bandana Waddle Dee and your selection of characters that you're considering.
• I love Bandana Waddle Dee, I really do. But I don't see him in this game, or at least him not being in the priority list of characters (which I assume is what the roster is). I believe he'd fit more on the consideration list.
• On the consideration list, I suggest dropping Krystal and Lyn; maybe Diskun as well (considering our Hardware / Surprise character has been with us since the beginning). The others are characters I believe have a good chance for there own reasons.

Anyway, I did go back to my roster input, and rearranged the icons more. That way, the roster display formatting would be more acceptable.

I'd say the same about Bowser Junior, but you did guess Rosalina correctly. Maybe you're actually Sakurai! [Laughs] I also feel similarly with the Donkey Kong franchise, but I do think that there is much better chance that we see DK go up to four rather than Mario to six.
Your other two cuts are things I am not particularly fond of either, but I do see reasons as to why Ike and Snake may go.
The rest of your character choices do make sense in their own respects, whether I personally I agree with them or not.
Just my thoughts, hope it helps both of you.

Bwads is iffy for me. On one hand I find him likely, on another I don't. I'm on and off really.
Lyn is just a character that I really want for the sake of a FE character that is not Chrom or Roy.

This, I can agree with. Probably the fanbase that is setting itself up for the biggest meltdown. It's pretty hard to watch.

You can't really make everyone happy. I actually did ditch Black Shadow on an earlier update, seeing as R.O.B. is quite important to Nintendo's history.
Anyway, in terms of the six Mario reps, Brawl did get away with having six playable Pokemon, even though the Pokemon Trainer owned three of them. But I guess the fact that you actually have to alternate the Pokemon may make you think otherwise.
