As did I, it was something that made him much more notable than our least favorite blue hedgehog that everyone was drooling over.I thought that was one of the best of all things about having him.

So? People still bought Mii games that didn't come bundled with the consoles. It came with the console...
So? it still shows the Wii's success at the most top peak.It came with the console...
What is worse is that people actually played the game! So? People still bought Mii games that didn't come bundled with the consoles.
Truthfully, I don't want Solid Snake back. While I do understand his inclusion in Brawl, he's literally a needle in a haystack for being in an M-rated franchise; all the other fighters only come from franchises that get either the E, E10+, or T ratings.
Just add Snake from Peace Walker and everything will be okTruthfully, I don't want Solid Snake back. While I do understand his inclusion in Brawl, he's literally a needle in a haystack for being in an M-rated franchise; all the other fighters only come from franchises that get either the E, E10+, or T ratings.
Then you disagree with me.What if I think they do?
That is essentially my story in a nut-shell. Minus the notion that I never decided to main him, he just isn't my style.Let me tell you all something. When Snake was revealed, I was indifferent. A few years after Brawl came out, I decided to play as Snake because all of my friends and I thought he sucked.
Well, I started dominating my friends as him, and to this day he is one of my mains. Because of my liking, I decided to start playing MGS.
Since I have completed MGS 1, 2, 3, and 4, my stance on Snake has completely changed. I think he should stay in Smash for several reasons, but I've already been over those reasons.
Anyway, for those of you who are against him, but haven't played as him, or any of his games, I recommend that you do. It's a lot of fun. It can be challenging at times, but MGS is a great series, and Snake is a great character.
NOT SERIOUS. UNACCEPTABLE. SMASHBOARDS CAN ONLY BE SERIOUS.Here's this. Not a prediction, just good-old fashioned fun.

I like that Scorpion is on the roster; rumor has it, he is going to make guest appearances in every fighting game. Here's this. Not a prediction, just good-old fashioned fun.

How happy would this make people? They get their Geno, their Krystal, their Roy...Here's this. Not a prediction, just good-old fashioned fun.

Needs Sable and Zoroark, then I'm pretty much sold with this roster. How happy would this make people? They get their Geno, their Krystal, their Roy...
I would vomit; but when I think something is grotesque and repugnant, the general population is usually infatuated. How happy would this make people? They get their Geno, their Krystal, their Roy...
I'm not into the Metal Gear Solid titles. I have played a few shooter titles, such as Star Fox Assault, but none of them are M-rated.Let me ask you M&SG, and this isn't a condescending question as I'm just wondering, but have you ever played MGS? If not, then I suggest you try to find a copy of MGS: The Twin Snakes, and you'll see the goofiness at work.
NOOOOOO! You accidentally burned the orphanage! That was our only chance for Ridley!NOT SERIOUS. UNACCEPTABLE. SMASHBOARDS CAN ONLY BE SERIOUS.
KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Don't worry, Ridley can live in the hole on Pyrosphere.NOOOOOO! You accidentally burned the orphanage! That was our only chance for Ridley!
If Snake was "literally" a needle in a haystack, he would be an actual needle in an actual haystack. Don't use "literally" incorrectly like that.Truthfully, I don't want Solid Snake back. While I do understand his inclusion in Brawl, he's literally a needle in a haystack for being in an M-rated franchise; all the other fighters only come from franchises that get either the E, E10+, or T ratings.
Maybe Fox is just too big! Did you ever think of that?!Speaking of Ridley, is Wii Fit Trainer supposed to be this small?
Since when was Ridley small? Last I checked, he was too big.Speaking of Ridley, is Wii Fit Trainer supposed to be this small?

Alright. I'm telling you, it's a great series. I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.I'm not into the Metal Gear Solid titles. I have played a few shooter titles, such as Star Fox Assault, but none of them are M-rated.
But they don't get their Zoroark, Blaziken, Ashley, Captain Syrup, Shake King, Simon Belmont...How happy would this make people? They get their Geno, their Krystal, their Roy...
That's the exact lineup of SSB26, good guessing! But they don't get their Zoroark, Blaziken, Ashley, Captain Syrup, Shake King, Simon Belmont...![]()
That is so sad that I might shed a tear...But they don't get their Zoroark, Blaziken, Ashley, Captain Syrup, Shake King, Simon Belmont...![]()
Tell me that you're just trolling, as I was using a figure of speech there. If Snake was "literally" a needle in a haystack, he would be an actual needle in an actual haystack. Don't use "literally" incorrectly like that.
So I'm trolling because you can't use a word correctly and make the excuse that it was a "figure of speech"?Tell me that you're just trolling, as I was using a figure of speech there.
You fool, Nintendo fans don't like M rated games.Alright. I'm telling you, it's a great series. I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.
If you go and try it, and still don't like it, you can ban me for a week![]()
Fallacious to disregard entirely? Maybe. Fallacious to omit from the roster when said character's defining customizable nature might be impossible to transfer to a new non-Wii console, and when being iconic alone won't get a character in (see: Toad)? Not really. Also, them "always being a staple" would imply them recurring in every console from here on out, which may or may not happen if Nintendo releases a non-Wii console. There's also Wii Fit Trainer to "represent" the Wii era, if "reps" somehow becomes a character qualifier.Absolutely not; it would be absolutely fallacious to disregard the success of the Wii era. Miis will always be a staple of Nintendo, it doesn't matter if they drop off or are no longer prevalent. They will always represent Nintendo's high-point in my opinion. I mean some might change their perspectives to something antithetical, but those are fad speculators, no one really cares what they think.
As far as I'm concerned, it's your opinion and I respect it. Not everybody thinks the same so it's only natural.Apparently, if you don't want Solid Snake to return, you're going to get pummeled to the ground. I guess that's what I get for taking the bait.
I honestly couldn't give a flying **** whether you want Snake to return or not. Don't play the poor pitiful victim who's opinion is attacked because someone doesn't like it.Apparently, if you don't want Solid Snake to return, you're going to get pummeled to the ground. I guess that's what I get for taking the bait.
If that's "trolling" in your eyes, then I worry about your stance as a mod.EDIT: A figure of speech would be "he is a needle in a haystack" as that invokes metaphor. "He is like a needle in a haystack" also works because of simile.
"He is literally a needle in a haystack" is no metaphor or simile. It's saying he is actually a needle in a haystack.
That was just a general statement, I wasn't necessarily alluding to the chances of Mii characters, if they aren't in Smash 4, I highly doubt they will make an appearance in Smash X. I just don't think that they should be so easily dismissed once they are not prevalent.Fallacious to disregard entirely? Maybe. Fallacious to omit from the roster when said character's defining customizable nature might be impossible to transfer to a new non-Wii console, and when being iconic alone won't get a character in (see: Toad)? Metal Gear had also received this.
That's a shame. One thing though, its more of a stealth series than it is a shooter. Yes, shooting does occur, but it isn't the biggest draw of the series. It's more like being able to sneak up on the enemy and junk. They are at least worth checking out. Maybe you would like the lore.I'm not into the Metal Gear Solid titles. I know that there would be lots to discuss after Sheik's reveal... maybe not... but still. That's a shame. One thing though, its more of a stealth series than it is a shooter. Also this thread needs something to bring it back to life. Any character being revealed would help with that.
