I'm pretty optimistic about how Dedede's design will go in Smash 4. I'm already imagining it, but the vision is too blur.

It all looks the same to me to be perfectly honest. I don't really think Smash 4 Dedede is going to be that unique looking. Haha.

I like his Brawl design better, just give it more realism with the addition of primary colors and your all set. I don't really like the RTD and TD design, they look a bit kiddish and Dedede looks a bit too short. (But that's probably for balanced purposes)

Yeah I definitely prefer the proportions of Brawl Dedede.

Other than that though the design is pretty much identical to RtDL, with the exception of the shirt looking a little different.

Dedede really doesn't need to change much, the whole Kirby cast really doesn't need to for that matter. It's not like the newer games design them in a different way anyways, their designs are simplified to fit into the Kirby theme, and Dedede's body is made smaller to fit the platforming environment.

I say keep them with the Super Star design, it's not like it's going to change anything but Meta Knight's cape anyways. Their proportions are likely going to remain exactly the same as in Brawl, since that fits for Smash Bros.

I'm dying to see that HD fur coat though.

That could bring up a good bit of discussion. But honestly, imagine that Toon Zelda was in and instead of Tetra, we got Toon Sheik. The rage would have the absolute sweetest taste.

Well if one thing that is different is that the gold of Dedede's hat curves downward in the front. Giving him a more angry look. Also his eyes are more like circles and less like ovals. His eyes are also further apart. Dedede's beak seems to be smoother too.

I agree with his proportions. Dedede was quite smaller than normal in Return to Dreamland. However, I'd much rather see a more vibrant color scheme than Brawl's, it was a little too faded out.

Now that I'm awake, allow me to shed some like on the Snake subject. People are more worried about Sakurai saying that he didn't want too many guest characters. This lead some people to have Snake as their only cut to make room for a guest character that could be a potential newcomer. Whether it's the Yellow Menace, Red Swordsman, or Tired Vampire Hunter. I guess I could be on the same boat of limiting myself to 3 guests to make room for as much Nintendo fighters as possible since that's what Smash is truely about after all.

The only reason to even look at that game is so you can have Optimus Prime fight Solid Snake. Bomberman, Simon, Yugo, and Megatron are icing on the cake.

Well this is just an embarrassing mistake on my end. With a bunch of Smashboarders with male persona coming out as girls recently I just began to doubt if anyone was actually male after all.

On Dedede's design...I'm not expecting anything too drastic but like others I'd love to see some HD fur trim. That's all I want really.

I'm not into the Metal Gear Solid titles. I have played a few shooter titles, such as Star Fox Assault, but none of them are M-rated.

MGS isn't really a shooter.

As far as Snake goes, if he hadn't been in Brawl's reveal, and all the information we had was that third party characters were possible, Kojima wanted him in, and a new Metal Gear game was coming out, I'd have said hell no in a heartbeat. If he had been requested as much as Mega Man or Sonic? I'd be more receptive. Now that he's been in Brawl and was a great and popular character there? Definitely keep him, because why not? He doesn't magically "not fit" now or whatever awful reasoning the kids are using nowadays.

Scorpion hasn't been Venom in like 3 years or so. Which is for the better. He was one of the worst Venom host around. At least Eddie and Thompson win most of their fights.
