Your roster is okay, but you have the questionable choices on it that prevent anyone from taking it too seriously. That isn't a bad thing, but here on Smashboards we like to talk about Ridley and K. Rool as though they are shoe-in (hahahahha... seriously we do that for some reason).

Yeah, but when most of the people on YouTube are either copying your roster character for character or purposefully picking characters to try and be different like Popeye...there are other rosters that make sense, your series of videos was just very well produced and explained, so they did a lot to sway opinions.

I think Chibi Robo is reasonable enough.
Layton is big enough, I think, but since (I believe) he is a third party character, I simply don't know if he lives up to Sakurai's standards. He's cool nonetheless.
Diskun is what could be called a "WTF" choice, which is always difficult to predict.

I put Layton as a "half-placeholder" for a 3rd party character, because I believer there will be another third party, and I don't even want to think of it being PacMan.
And Diskun is a placeholder for a "WTF Retro," like G&W and ROB were.

I think it's clear "safe" rosters are moot now. The roster isn't going to be "safe".Safe rosters are automatically spiced up because we have Rosalina.

That is fairly circumstantial. I still don't think it necessarily means anything until we actually see the entire roster (obviously).

Please note that Diskun is a placeholder for a WTF Retro like G&W and ROB, I'd just prefer if Diskun filled this role.
Same goes for Layton as a 3rd Party character.

I would replace Tingle with Toon Zelda and Dixie with K. Rool and Takamaru with Palutena and Little Mac with Takamaru and Vince with Waddle Dee and Chibi Robo with ROB and finally... cut ROB.

I think 52 is kind of optimistic, Roy making it in over Chrom is questionable, and the lack of K. Rool and Medusa is also kind of questionable. I'm also not even sure who that is under Meta Knight.

With my many previous statements on Sakurai's outlook on the newcomers, he wants to have more unique chracaters. So I would say he would t use the fifth Zelda slot on Toon Zelda.I would replace Tingle with Toon Zelda and Dixie with K. I was considering K. Rool over Dixie, but for Tropical Freeze sake, I left it as it is.
I was thinking of Waddle Dee and Palutena, but Palutena didn't seem to offer much different from Zelda (goddess, magic attacks) and Waddle Dee just never appealed to me that much.
Under Meta Knight is Vince, the artist from Art Academy.

I'm thinkin' we will get all: Brawl - Snake (Maybe - A Pokemon) and then 12 - 16 newcomers.
Having both Mii and Reggii is a really bad idea.

Genuine thoughts? I'll be a bit easier.
The first thing I noticed was the lack of King K. Rool, while I see Dixie as very likely, I'd say K. Rool has more than enough demand to get into the game. I'd think both of them could get in, seeing as it wouldn't be the first time a series got more than one rep added at once.
I don't have anything against Tingle like most people, I'd think he'd be a funny character to watch, though I have no idea what he'd actually do. Have you perchance taken a gander at my Happy Mask Salesman thread?
I think Zelda may stay at four reps, though with Rosalina happening, I can see a fifth.Mii and Reggie in Mii form, that's really off-putting. I don't see Layton happening since Sakurai said third parties have to be high-profile, I just don't see him competing with the likes of Sonic or Mega Man, even Pac-Man has a higher shot (Namco helps that out a bit).
I can't really say anything for Robo, Diskun, or Vince, other than them being low-profile characters that probably wouldn't even get assist trophies.
Little Mac seems pretty likely, though I'm not a fan of him, so I'll stay out of that discussion. The rest looks fine to me.

Really? I think 52 is close to unrealistic. If 39 is a feasible roster to Sakurai, I highly doubt that we are going to increase the roster by 25% (if my simple math is correct).

Those are interchangeable. We have no way of knowing which one will get in or if both will, it mostly seems dependent on development time in my honest opinion.

Well, while Palutena feels somewhat comparable to Zelda in ability nature, that's generally why I prefer Medusa as a second Kid Icarus character. Her specialties, abilities, and overall feel are a lot different from Palutena's and Zelda's. BUT nobody ever agrees with me. So I'm just saying things.

I wouldn't say that she is out of the question. I wouldn't really be shocked to be perfectly honest. I do agree that she would be fairly comparable to Zelda, Medusa might offer something different. I have never played the original Kid Icarus games, but I believe that Medusa is technically more important. In any event, they wouldn't have to change Pit's Final Smash and no one would see it coming...

I don't think Palutena would play anything like Zelda, perhaps somewhat similar normal attacks at the most, but her specials would all be completely different, not to mention the lack of Sheik. She may move around something like a heavier Zelda, though her run would probably be a grounded-glide like Rosalina.
