...Did you seriously just think about having Luigi as an alternate costume for Mario, even if they are doctors?!

----
No I didn't. o-o
I don't really think Dr. Luigi is going to be his own character anyways, so that's why I thought he would be an alt. for Dr. Mario. Of course he could be an alt. for Luigi too.

You literally just said that thing he asked. You are implying that Luigi, any version of Luigi though specifically Dr. Luigi, would be a good choice for an alternate costume for an alternate version of Mario. When we have both of the iconic normal versions of both characters readily available. Meaning that the iconic versions can just use their alternative versions.

That doesn't really make sense honestly. Sorry if I came off as rude there.

We'd likely get the old school doctor before we get the new fangled thing. And even so, it looks like we would just get the two docs as alternates, there's likely going to be less clones this time, if any. (Semi-Clones are ignored here.)

Because we all want to see farting Luigi, scared of everything Mario, and Wario married with Peach.

I was thinking farting Mario, a cowardly Wario, and happy cape-slinging Luigi.

We'll probably get less semi-clones this time, hopefully. I want each newcomer this time to have a distinct fighting style this time.

Not sure which I want more. High tier Ganondorf or a more Unique Ganondorf. I mean, really would like both. But I which of the two sounds better to me.

All Wolf needs is something that isn't a Landmaster, I'll even take the guy kicking everyone in the crotch as a Final Smash.

Well, if Ganondorf is decloned, I hope they don't give him a weapon. I'd rather he still use just the same kind of magic he already does, but he uses it in a different way, not the way Capt. Falcon does it with Warlock punches and kicks. He could use some other kind of magic too though.

I still want Captain Falcon to use his gun. He's used it once. :grrr:

Let's think of ways characters could be unique.

Ganondorf: Tennis Ball of Doom. Maybe he can use a weapon too, but some new kicks and punches would do just fine.

Wolf: Anything but a Landmaster.

Falco: See Wolf. Give him a different Side B too. It's still a little too similar to Fox's.

Lucas: Swap his shield for PK Love I guess.

Luigi: Poltergust for throws. Works kind like DDD's B attack.

As for non-clones

Mario: Let him use the Hover Nozzle in mid-air. That was the best thing in Mario Sunshine. Also give him a special attack he can only use while gliding with his cape. It seems like a cool idea, and it'd be a more accurate reference to Mario World.

Donkey Kong: Give him his roll. You don't see heavy characters with quick attacks often.

I still want Captain Falcon to use his gun. He's used it once. :grrr:
That'd be like fusing Goku and Superman together. And then giving them Popeye's spinach served in one of Mega Man's E-Tanks.

Wolf: Anything but a Landmaster. Give him a Wolfen?

Falco: See Wolf. Give him a different Side B too. It's still a little too similar to Fox's. They are too similar. I think I'd change his up Special, though.

Lucas: Swap his shield for PK Love I guess. You mean Down-Special?

Luigi: Poltergust for throws. Works kind like DDD's B attack. Just keep his Back throw, and I'm happy.

As for non-clones

Mario: Let him use the Hover Nozzle in mid-air. That was the best thing in Mario Sunshine. Also give him a special attack he can only use while gliding with his cape. It seems like a cool idea, and it'd be a more accurate reference to Mario World. This is pretty cool, but a tad OP.

Donkey Kong: Give him his roll. You don't see heavy characters with quick attacks often. :happysheep:

I suppose sharing a special or two makes a character a clone.
Lucario confirmed to be a clone of Mewtwo everyone.
So by that theory....

Ike, Marth, Roy, Lucario are clones of each other. Counter Down Special
Lucario, Mewtwo, and Samus are clones of each other. Charging Neutral Special
Spacies are total clones, not semi. :troll: That Shine
Bowser and Yoshi are clones. Down Special
Sonic and Megaman are clones. Up Special
:troll:

Don't forget Bowser and Charizard are clones because of T3H PH1R3! ...... Breath.

Ganon would be overpowered in Wii Sports though.

With Falco's Up B, I can't really see any reasonable replacement. At least with the Illusion, you can swap it out for another projectile, like the missile launcher.

And those ideas for Mario, well he doesn't have to use both. I was thinking more along the lines of one or the other. I can see the Hover Nozzle being possible. The Glide and Dive Bomb would be cooler to me though.

Oh, and before I forget, I was thinking of Lucas' Down B.

Dude you knew what I meant. He's a semi-clone. :p

But I mean, he isn't really even a semi-clone anymore.
His N-Special is anti-gravity. Different enough I suppose, although still a very similar move.
S-Special is completely different.
U-Special is similar, but has a very different effect. While Mario's produces coins when up close, Luigi sets the opponent on fire.
D-Special used to be Mario's but now it isn't.
I find Luigi to be very different than Mario.

Fox: Keep the same.

Falco:

N-Special: Blaster. Keep it the same, possibly make it have higher knockback.
S-Special: Falco Illusion. Make it a meteor smash in-air, it angles downwards like a spike and rushes downwards, the basic opposite of Wolf's version.
U-Special: Electric Falcon. He spins as electricity charges around him and bursts into the air. Multi-directional like Fire Fox, but it also makes Falco glide using his spinning wings.
D-Special: Reflector. Keep it same.
FS: Arwing.

I want Falco to mainly use spinning as an attack, he seems to use it the most.

Wolf: Keep the same.
FS: Team Star Wolf

Higher knockback lasers? ...

Spike on Side B?

Gliding, improving Falco's recovery?

With two games already placing himself in the Top Tier as a serious treat, YOU WOULD BUFF FALCO?

If this happens, we'll all die.

Falco's U-Special I would probably change it to use electricity instead of fire and rename it Thunder Bird.

Wolf: Up Special: ICE WOLF. Stole your idea :p
Down Special: Reflector. Maybe he can have it in front of him like Lucas?

Falco
Neutral Special: Blaster. Maybe allow him to aim it in an upward or downward angle? Let him charge it for like a second and aim? I don't know much about StarFox, so he probably would never do this.

Bowser: N Special: Spit fireballs that go straight like in the game, with more knockback and damage, the opposite if his flamethrower breath.
Down Special: Maybe Iron Hammers from New Super Mario Bros. U or something.

DK: roll attack, and maybe some Barrels.

Diddy: let him use his jetpack so he can move like in Project M.

I mostly fought Fox. But I never got a mirror match. Though he doesn't need any buffs. But I really like the Thunder Bird version of Fox Fire, should help him stand out a little bit more. I mostly want him to use a missile launcher.
